I love day work and snagging plots or redecs of plots other painters have flucked up. £170- £200 hundred a day. In the South West. Love it.....Pro Dec-Swindon.
Class mate, love the channel, I'm just getting into my corner rollers, wow, so satisfying not pushing the brush slowly and buggering your arm up unnecessarily, work smart not hard💥💥
Love your vids mate, I mainly do new builds too here in northern Ireland. Slightly different to England from what I've seen from you and others. But always good to pick up a few tips too. Keep it lit 🔥
Same mate I started new builds 4 years ago and only went on my own doing price 2 years ago and if it wasn't for this channel I would of probably gave up a long time ago every time I've been stuck and needing advice this channel pretty much pulls it out the bag for me every time haha so glad I came across it guys a legend I'd love to sit pick his heed for an hour or two over a pint with my not pad and pen hahaa sending love fae 🏴 #livebythebrush
I got a mate called 1coat tone , he hates masking tape, he free hand’s going down the stairs, you can tell all carpet fibres on the wood work, that’s why I use masking tape 👍
yeah i knew a similar bloke called 2 doors. only ever painted 2 doors a day. never anymore. always going to the van to get something. one of them merchants.
You can get oak stainers for white putty or some oak woodstain mixed in white putty for the filling. Or mix brown and white putty but ideally pity cant get oak putty ? It would be good idea most oak wood fillers not that good really..
There's two sides of the older generation of painter though.. You've embraced spraying, and modernisation of the techniques, but there are some who refuse to listen to your suggestions, and are -always- right, and you try to point something out and they give you a bollocking and won't listen to you, then lo' and behold, shit hits the fan and they still refuse to acknowledge you tried to point something out. Phrases like ''What the f*ck do you know? I've forgotten more than you'll ever know!'' lol. Some are stuck in the past bro.
@@garryleeks4848 I think you need to learn how to paint before you can spray and if you can't work on site anymore your fucked you can't spray walls in people houses it creates to much mess. But I do think their is something in spraying . But am glad I am a time served painter of 30 years and skilled enough to use a brush & roller , it not going to take over but it saves you time got to be a good thing and strain on your body if your getting older like me. There are tons of ways to paint but watching other's on line, you can learn better techniques of painting like them M3 masking machines they are great far better than sheets they keep carpets alot cleaner than a sheet.
Still cannot believe Jeremy hired another painter to do his insides after you'd worked hard on the outside, mind you that flag was there the moment I saw him in tatty boiler suit mixing paint colours together to save a few pounds. I'd be going round and having it out with him
@@wallingtonfilming feel like I do, I know the type, all I know of him is what I saw on your videos, the woman charging you 20p a biscuit needed a slap, it's 60p a packet in Aldi, at that point I'd have thrown paint everywhere and left, you need to have it out with Jeremy about that other painter, at least know what you did wrong to make him hire someone else, penny pincher is what Jeremy is

I’m the older generation, been decorating 40 years and still don’t spray, I’ll probably retire in 10 years and still won’t do it , how bad is that 😬
