I just recently caught a couple of your videos from the old school brisket to your burgers and short ribs, love how you keep it old school and can't wait to see your video on the various types of smokers and their purpose of each one
hello Nice video. I have nine barbecue pits I don’t have many as you but I understand the concept of what you are talking about. Different barbecue pits do different things so I feel the more the better. If someone as the Space to enjoy lots of barbecue pits. It’s a passion for me I love it.👍
Your skills make me yearn to literally find you and buy a plate of food because I KNOW your food is done with top notch skills and preparation. Do you have a degree in cooking. What's your deal because your skills are at some of the highest level I have ever seen and I been on this planet 50+ years. Unbelievable!
@@bbqsouthernstyle It's funny you said you went to the school of hard knocks. Thats my al·ma ma·ter as well . Lol.. Your right without passion things seem like a job instead forfilling. The question is can I buy a plate someday before I am called to the upper room with God. Lol
Wow! I had to watch this video twice. I have had beef ribs before, they didn't compare to the style that you used to smoke yours. Good job pit master. 👌
New subscriber here and all I can say is excellent all the way around. I love that well made cooker. And those burgers looked first rate. When I go to my local butcher, what is the name of the rib cut ? Very interested in southern barbecue 😋 👌 Thank you so much for sharing your expertise, you definitely got it going 👍
the juice running out of those ribs.....awesome! The cooker: i was thinking of something similar but with the ability to separate the heat from the smoke. Not sure how the plumbing would work but that diffuser plate seems to work great. Thank you sir for the delicious goodies! (Does the fabricator build to order? Or only one offs for the pitmaster?)
Those ribs look incredible. I’ve always done pork ribs but have wanted to try these for so long, everyone keeps telling me they’re hard to tenderize. Is that true and what’s your secret because Yours looked on point.
Start with less coal or wood using a low fire and build bigger as you lean. Small fires take longer to cook but are much better to control. As you get better go bigger. Lots of food bigger fire and less food smaller fire.
@@bbqsouthernstyle Is there a link where I could have them make me one or would I have to find a designer and show them your outfit and tell them to replicate that?
Was watching this lovely video then went to look at the sub count and it had me thinking this man needs a lot more subscribers than he has
It's a burger when you can slice it in half and make two burgers outta one! Awesome cook

The biggest challenge of all your videos is to decide what to make first. Everything looks delicious!
Thank you, ribs, are always a good start just take your time.

woah! what kind of smoker are sitting next too? i want one.
custom made one of a kind sir.
Super helpful video. Thanks for this. My biggest issue is how to control the fire and the heat. Any tips or tricks.

If you have a fire wood guy in your town try him out and any hardware store sell coal. Hope this helps thanks for watching.
