Don't know really how I could not manage this simple process for ages! Looked all around and read how many pages I can't tell! Finally this idea came up my mind to ask it to RUclips and here you are! And I turned it on finally! Thanks very much.

Yeh well this is fine but i cant log in to my work Gmail to do any of this because it says, Your sign-in settings don’t meet your organization’s 2-Step Verification policy. Soooo what do i do?

Best to get in touch with you Google Workspace administrator. If 2-Step Verification policy is enforced and it's not already enabled they'll be able to send you a code to get logged in.

Also who will have another phone number it is bad enough having a phone number anyway, I hate having a phone number, crazy how instant messaging viop apps obviously allow you to call whoever by their name or nickname.
So aslong as they all have access to a voip enabled app, landlines and mobile numbers are not needed.

It may work very well if you find the two-step option. For Workspace you have to be Admin and set it for everyone. But Admin can't set two-step until it he has set it for himself. But he can't set it for himself because he has to be Admin. But he can't set Admin two-step ..... and so it goes on and around and around and around. Did anyone at Google actually read their instructions before they published them.
I wouldnt spend any time on it anymore but Outlook will not sync Gmail Workspace if you don’t set two-step in Gmail. Outlook does not tell you this in any easy place to find.

Is it just me who thinks downloading codes then storing them is not very secure unless they are in a password protected file.
Also the system does not protect against if someone robs the phone, they just could reset the password on a probably opened email account.
Or send a sms or call etc to thay phone
Or a hacker could access your phone then press reset password then access the opend email account to reset the password.
    It is a ridiculous system.

Let me guess you never transferred your two factor codes from the app on old phone to your new phone?
Next time you should also take a note of recovery codes.

Do not use two step verification app. They bruteforced it and made m'y yt account suspendre deleting my account security on the way. If you use validation steps with code you aren't safe
