I’ve never been happier at a concert than seeing the Box in the late 80s. I saw them four times. Love your music, Jean-Marc and I still listen to it regularly. We even chatted once before you went on and talked about The Little Prince and how it inspired a few songs. Hope you read this and know that, to TONS of people, your songs were anthems / themes / soundtracks that accompanied big chunks of our lives.
Wow !!! You're lucky !!
One of our great Canadian bands that still get airplay as they truly deserve.
Love to hear Jean-Marc talk about L'Affair Demoutier. I think it's their best song.
I saw The Box live in 1990. They were awesome. There was so much Canadian talent in this era.
I opened for the box in 1987 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada... A great bunch to work with! I sang this tune in our band at the time!
Misty Moon? I was there omg.
I love this band! Canada rules!!!
Wow I never understood the meaning of the song till now . I now have a even newer respect for this amazing band.
It's an absolutely beautiful song.
Saw the box at ontario place in 80s ...wall to wall positivity...jean-marc puts it on his sleeve with power and a sense of humor...need this more than ever
Jean-Marc = class act!
Fantastic Man and Band.
Wow!, he's a really cool guy. Sort of a perfectionist from the onset of the interview. I'd love to see them!.
Jean-Marc, I love your values, principles and morals. You are the best!

This is so awesome.
Great Tune , Best Wishes from Scotland
Cool to know that you are listening to a Canadian band in Scotland 🏴 😊 🇨🇦
The Box in Hamilton with Men Without Hats on August 7th
behind the vinyl logo ''the north face'' style 😀 very good explanation of the song, how many times have I persisted in saying that it was martine st clair who sings but that yes these sas jordan in the video
great songs... yeh Canada!
Very cool. What's up with the boots?
Going to the Oshawa gig! - November 12, 2017!
Great song. Sounds like a great guy.
Where ever can I get your music in HQ Audio? I search everywhere. I find nothing. :( Alway think The Box is the best Canadian band ever.
Jean-Marc is a stand up guy!
Very cool
❤
Jean Marc seems like such a nice person. I occasionally here some progressive rock influences in their songs (Remnants). I suspect he may have been part of, or influenced by the strong and wonderful Quebec Prog. scene of the 70s with groups like Maneige, Pollen, Sloche, Octobre, Morse Code and Harmonium.
ok, so Sass is in the video, Martine not, then who is the other girl in the video with Sass? thanks
I'd ask is he *sure* Sass didn't sing harmony on this track, because it really sounds like her at the end.
@@thewedgev2she didn't. Martine sang both parts.
Sylvie Daviau is the taller blonde in the video
1987
What’s the story about Ordinary People ?
Nice boots Jean-Marc. On his way to slop some hogs no doubt ;-). Seriously though...fantastic record!
Doesn't come across (considering his fan and contributions to music) as self absorbed or pretentious at all. Probably a great guy to hang and chat with.
*fame
+Tsukamaki He is a great guy to hang out with. We had a great time with him in studio.
Casseau Patrick Roy and Claude the pest Lemieux
Why on earth can't this guy skate. It never to late to take up the sweet science.
