I loved having a black cat. The feral felid chose me down by the rocks on the water. Super smart! When I’d go outside with him at night I’d watch him, & naturally he’d go all over the place stalking & hunting, but he also knew when to stalk on darker terrains & how to walk within the shadowline. Very crafty at concealment. These are companions, & they will teach us. Different sensory, unrecognized intelligence differences, hearing, smelling, & seeing the world through a different lens; a different orientated/functioning brain. Much superior periphery too, amazing tapetum/nocturnal optics. Unimaginable some can’t see the stars. Mine couldn’t but did with a little helpful caretake as a special favor from a higher source at his passing ♦️✨. Ya know, I can actually understand to hear mice now. I could never pick it up before. Completely deaf to it like the blind to Spaniard ships, or humans who fear the Stars. I don’t have to look, but I do because I like to learn, not because of some bozos summation on psychological ticks for tell tales. The significance of “Awareness” is something to be indicated. Signs of intelligence ought not to be overlooked or squandered.
