Current ruling dispensation talks so much about our civilisation yet neglects our precious archaeological sites. It's a shame! If conducting research isn't feasible at the moment, the least we can do is ensure that these sites are isolated from public and in future when we are economically and technologically prepared, our archaeologists can thoroughly study and uncover the secrets they hold. 🤦🤦‍♂🤦‍♀

Makes lot of sense. Even today we have the sentinelese who doesn't want to be in touch with the modern people. Similarly, there would lot of tribes who want to follow their ethnic way and doesn't want to modernize. North east also an example. So a new advancement may not be accepted by another set of people. India is so diversed, even a language changes within 200 kms. If we could have so many languages, why not we have so many iron age groups, bronze age groups living in parallel. May be legend of Ram meeting Hanuman, is similar to a one prince from a different group meeting a minister from a different group. Western history is all about world changing at the same time. Bible fixing a time for creation etc... However they also agree to evolution of species too.

Bible is a political manifesto to take control and bring an end to chaos. It follows the same vision as prophet zarathustra who believed single source of truth is necessary for stability to exist otherwise we will have a society where everyone has their own personal morality and standard and they use "might is right" philosophy to crush whoever goes against their standards. Though their attempt was to create stability and order, they have no issues further creating disorder in a place that differs from their standard. But they are clear about the standards they have.

Hi pls do a podcast with Yajna Devam who claims to have deciphered IVC as Classical Sanskrit. I feel like you can ask more pointed questions since you have some idea on Vedam. He claims that Harappans moved to Haryana, south India and Gangetic plains due to climate change - 200yr drought and drying up of Saraswati river. You can compare and contrast it with Dr. Shrikanth Talgeri's theory.

Wow what an interesting podcast. I really want to know the timeline continuity between mahabharat and ivc. I’m really interested in knowing a timeline of historical events according to Hindu itihasa and overlap it with the order of events recorded by the western or the marxists historians because the latter is what most people seem to follow. Can someone recommend a book for this?
As far as I understand, after the mahabharat war, ivc started. So what we think of as the mature and urban phase of ivc (2600-1900 BCE) is actually nothing compared to the glory of pre-mahabharat times. Of course, ivc by itself was extremely civilised and urbanised; I’m only making a comparison. Also i think it makes sense that ivc is post-mahabharat because the people there lived extremely isolated lives, maybe trying to cope with the horrors of the war?
P.S. I’m not a history student. I’m far from it. I am just an enthusiast who enjoys reading history a lot. I’m only theorising.

There are differences between the way west looks at science/philosphy/spiritualism etc.. They are looked at separately. Good to an extent, but holistic approach is what is Bharatiya culture, may be because of the long cultural continuity. We look at even time in cycles, in yugas. We look at science and spiritualism together. Of course even a human has physical parts and a mental part. Mind and body needs to be made healthy together, otherwise the sync is gone. That is why healing the mind, heals the body and vice versa. That is the reason quantum physics is trying to find answers in Upanishad

I disagree. Humans were well connected with each others even 5000-6000 years ago.
To say that Indians started using iron tools 1000 year before rest of humanity does not make any sense.

Iron age spread like a wildfire throught the world after its invention.

Problem with your logic . Earlier historians were pushing some date fot iron for whole world. Now with archaeological findings in india , we have proof that it started here 800 years earlier than prior date.
Now you can not just blind claim that it arated in whole world 800 years earlier . For that claim you will need archaeological evidence in other civilizations. Till that evidence and excavation and papers of other civilizations come, we can push indian proven dates 800years earlier . Qnd wait for other places to have evidence merged.
Science is continuous moving target. So problem with your statement is that we need to wait for archaological evidence for other places

My stance is, I'm skeptical of Aryan invasion, but I don't think OIT has any possibility as in Indian dna going to Europe.
    First lets look at DNA.
I don't see the genetics of Indians in Europeans. No European has single drop of South Asian hunter gatherer DNA. But most Indians have Eastern European hunter gatherer DNA which is a key component of steppe dna. And we all know Indus valley people were mixed with South Asian hunter gatherers. Today, highest amount of South Asian hunter gatherer DNA is found in paniya people.
Now coming to culture and language, this I believe there's a possibility could've originated in South Asia or Iran. Two key components of steppe dna are caucasian hunter gatherer and Eastern European hunter gatherers. Caucasian hunter gatherer is nearly identical to Iranian Neolithic hunter gatherer(key ancestry in IVC) with slight west Eurasian shift. So they probably had a common ancestor. Now if proto Indo European language and culture had most of its origins in the common ancestor of CHG and Iranian_N then it's indeed possible that the culture and language has origins in either Iran or North Western region of South Asia. It could even be Armenia or Anatolia.

You figure out source of origin of Mithras, you figure out whole Indo-European history.
