She was very nice in this interview! I think this is who she really is but just puts on that "sunglasses diva" routine for other interviews and for her public persona

It's largely because he is such a great interviewer. It's probably hard to engage and be serious when you hear the same, basic questions from someone who did zero research (even Bawbwa Waltews asked her the exact same set of questions in two different interviews, srsly), this guy seems like a real fan or at least someone who can appreciate her undeniable talent and artistry and tries to find the person behind a persona.

She's both. She is a diva because she owns her worth.
She went through so much to get to where she is now, so she flaunts her beauty and success. She is a genuinely honest person, and among the few artists who *deserved* the right to be a diva.

I thought mariah was great in precious and her reactions gave such weight to the scenes. I honestly thought she looked beautiful in the movie. Why does a social worker have to look ugly ?
I guess it was supposed to show how stressful and tiring the job can be and it helped portray the grittyness of the movie
I thought it suppose to be realistic because in a lot of jobs women don't wear makeup. I've worked in a kitchen and childcare and women generally don't wear makeup there.
I agree I didn't think she was ugly at all, what she did was bring credability to the scene as it was Sooooo believeable her facial reactions were totally on point for what was being described to her which again brought realness to what was being discussed in the scene.
She should have been at least nominated form an Oscar! ❤

I agree. I thought she did okay..but to me..her inexperience was fairly obvious. I mean, she’s a phenomenal singer. Can’t be perfect at everything. I just kind of laugh as people all fawn over her like she gave this AMAHZING PERFORMANCE…when it was just, bleh. That’s okay cuz the actress who played precious and Monique stole every single scene anyways!! Phenomenal performances from those two.
