    Thank you so much for the video. Is the whipped soap safe to use for a 1-year-old without fragrance and colorants, and can I use Preservative Geoguard ECT? I just think all the ingredients used here are safer than the ones used in baby washes.

      Thanks for watching! I don’t advise any DIY projects for children as they haven’t been tested. If you make it and test it for yourself I’d do stability and consult with a lab before using it for very young children. As you know from my disclaimer I’m a self taught formulator, and these videos are formulas I try out and share via my own experiments, they aren’t sale ready just yet. You could use that preservative, but I’ve not tested this with that so I’m not sure how affective it would be, and again I don’t know if it’s suitable for small children.

    I made this and it was awesome! Quick question, if we wanted to increase the lather of this product what would you recommend? Any changes in the percentages of cocamidopropyl betaine or sci?

    • @revegacosmetics
      @revegacosmetics  Год назад +1

      You can adjust them as you like really, just keep within manufacturer usage rates and it’s a good idea to calculate the ASM. Adding some SLSa may help give you more foam.
      Glad you like it :)

      @opeyemiadebusola9277 Год назад

      @@revegacosmetics thank you! Also what phase would you incorporate SLSa into?

    • @revegacosmetics
      @revegacosmetics  Год назад

      @@opeyemiadebusola9277 I’d just put it in with the SCI and Cocamidopropyl betaine. You’d need to recalculate the surfactant phase and do sone tests to get it as you like it. Changing them may also affect viscosity a little, so you may need to play around with the thickeners too.

    44% of distilled water 🤔 it might dissolve the sugar after few days. Other than that.. This is a great formulation. All rhe best 😍

    • @revegacosmetics
      @revegacosmetics  2 года назад

      There isn't any sugar in this recipe.

    Thanks for sharing! Can we substitute sci with sls?

    • @revegacosmetics
      @revegacosmetics  2 года назад

      You can, but SCI is milder. You might need to adjust the surfactant percentages to your liking.

    Hi, new here….How do we incorporate sugar?

    • @revegacosmetics
      @revegacosmetics  Год назад

      Sugar in water based scrubs can dissolve over time, so I’d recommend a different exfoliant or follow one of the scrub recipes I have already (or the ones coming soon).
      You can add sugar to this, by adding and weighing the amount you like and then recalculating your percentages for the formula. But like I say, it can dissolve.
