    I love the recent trend of designers incorporating machining marks to make patterns and other visual accents, too bad not all the boards have the external flair ✨

    I feel bad for missing out on GMK Tiramisu.
    It would be great if there was a GMK profiled version of SA Espresso, the novelties are so great on that set.
    The cost of the external design was super expensive to get done for the Cloud Nine.
    Orbit and Cloud Nine have a great side profile curve.
    I missed out on Cloud Nine, hopefully they do a round 2 or I can pick up an extra.
    I would recommend this board if you can afford it for 65% users.

    In terms of overall choice, if you had to choose between the machina orbit 65 and the keycult 1/65 rose gold, which would you choose?

    I don't know if I missed this, but if there's a design at all, why isn't it on the outside? Is it a sound thing? I don’t know enough about sound to say that pattern wouldn't make a huge difference in sound… I guess it disperses certain frequencies?

    How much did Sir Tadpole use? If you used something light, do you feel it's hard and bouncy?

      @@thekeybody i used 30a and it was soft yes. But you can use more firm tadpoles to make it harder!

      You can order from MACHINA. They offer worldwide DHL air shipping (currently unable to ship to Russia and Ukraine) directly from the factory in China.

    The sound on this board isn’t that impressive, IMO. I’ve listened to several builds of it, and they all come off as thin and generic, with no real character. It’s kind of ironic, considering the internals are designed to be sound-oriented for better performance. All that cool machining inside-most of which you’ll never see-just doesn’t seem to deliver when it comes to the actual sound experience.

      Elaborate then, what boards do you think have a better sound profile?

    • @shynnsup8383
      @shynnsup8383 2 дня назад

      @@grizzly6153 There are many good sounding keyboards out there, the point is that this one makes an extreme effort to have a good sound (machined interior) and it just does not seem to deliver above average. Recent great sounding boards that come to mind are Sonnet, Protagonist, Neo 75cu, Dune65, Origami TKL.
      비엔초 Bncho recently uploaded a sound test of the Orbit 65 and it seems to sound much better there with his build. (granted it is the steel version).
