    I'm with you on tightening that screw. Leaving it loose is just a disaster waiting to happen.

    Great video. I did this same thing, however, I put the shut off valve right before where the fuel line enters the fuel filter on the left side of the generator. That way, when you need to change the fuel filter, instead of pinching off the fuel line, you just turn that valve and it makes replacing the filter easier.

    I don't know anything about generator, but I have a question. If you block fuel supply while the generator is running, the fuel pump is still working, right? Does that put stress on the fuel pump?

      I’m with you. I really didn’t think it would run for that long after shutting off the fuel. I’ll have to look into that.

      It will not hurt the fuel pump.

    I would've just used a regular plyer and caused explosion...
