Rudi does not really need any presentation, he was and will be at all times the most passioned loving man, handsome and modest. He came into the world for a short time, and he left again because his time was up. No way this wonderful man could go on living in the harsh film industry, where nobody gets really happy and free. Women from the 20ties and women after the silence golden age, are two different things, because Rudi had his italian temper and taste for the feminine women, and they did not survive the golden age. I dont think he would have accepted the way they make film today, because he adored women with a decent attitude and soft manners, today women think they have the power to do without men, that would have scared the hell out of Rudi. He died young and his legacy will remain young, and he took the last chapter with him about handsome gentlemen pay the right attension to the female sex. R.I.P. Darling Rudi.....
Until the day he died, I think he was trying to figure himself out. He had been reading Freud and just before he died, he sought out H.L. Mencken, an older man to talk to. Very poignant. He may have been caught in another trap with Pola, thinking that their shared foreign roots would offset her tremendous drive. She may have claimed afterwards that she would have quit to be a wife, but while he was alive, she was teasing that Prince...and Rudy was in NY sleeping with Benda. Things were loose and confusing until the bitter end. A few weeks before he died, he had met up again with his tea dancing friend George Raft and Rudy took him out to the Long Island house he was renting for the summer of 1926. Raft said Rudy said he had everything but was unhappy. Raft always thought Rudy was depressed for all the time he knew him in the early days. @@secretariatgirl4249 I think I have bin hunting all the possible knowledge around him, reading, wathing, hearing what ever is possible to hear about this wonder, but I know that we will never be able to say, that was the final end of Rudy, because he does not end, he is still living among us and still making women and fans passioned for his personality and legacy. I dont think women were in love with him, I think it was his movies, singing, posters and short videos with all the things he did in life and wife Natasja Rampova, who definately was the love of his life, but she left him and I think the main reason might have bin, that he could not resist female attension, and of course he could bring almost any women to her knees. I would have enjoyed him, going for dinner and dance, having fun and take some cosy travels, and now and then the more intimate part of it, but marriage no never, because Rudy adored women and he was hot as fire, because that is what italian men simply are. I have traveled round Europe as a young model and mannequin so I have met these hot guys all over south of Europa, and they are for many of them impossible to resist, because they often are very handsom, very good dancers and gentlemen to the core. What you must know also is, that these wonder guys often have wife and kids at home, so it is not a lucky situation to fall in love with them. They love their family, and they desire you, the different is a typical italian man or spanish or french or greek, these men are explosive material, and so was Rudy. I think I would have eaten him alive, but marriage not in a million years......
@@jannepetersen4660 when I was in Italy in my younger days when the guys found out I was Italian .. Half Foggia, half Sicilian...they were all over me...like being love bombed!! It was almost frightening!
@@secretariatgirl4249 I am danish tall and slim but as required at my work my hair was very blonde, but brows and eyes were dark, so I turned out as a little of everything, and as you se in and old movie with Anita Ekberg, 'La dolce vita' they went bananas. I was surrounded by very young and very old italian men, and some of them I tell you was hard to resist, because they had what we se in Valentino and their eyes could send me down of my chair. One of those who took the pictures of the models was actually much alike Valentino, but on the set there were rules to follow, so he just worked with us. I knew that he could have bin the one not to date, because I would have given in all the way.....well thats what italian men are all about.....simply hot and sometimes impossible to resist......
