Some of my most iconic pieces are decoupage so in this tutorial i share with you all my hints, tips and methods of mastering decoupage with wrapping paper.

By far the best thing that has happened during lock down. Zoe has brightened up many a morning for me with her insta lives..... If I won the monkey I would hang it in the hallway for every one to see when the front door opens. Thanks Zoe you have been a real tonic 😘

Anything electric is way out of my depth of knowledge, would be cool to know how you could turn something into a lamp. 😍 Because if I can't get my hands on the hanging monkey lamp, I might have to have a go of a makeshift one until I save up to buy him 😂

If i won the monkey I would give it to my daughter who moved into her first flat a week before lockdown. She had no time to go out and choose furniture so she is currently living with one chair and a desk!! Thankfully she managed to buy a bed online or she would be sleeping on the floor. I think the monkey would really cheer her up and also be the very first addition to her new home.

I have been looking for a print to upcycle my gran's kidney shaped dresser with and your Chimiracle wrapping paper is perfect for this! i am so excited for it to arrive - this video has helped me realise that i might actually be able to do it ! (fingers crossed) - love the Monkey lamp! it would go perfectly with the dresser in my spare bed / dressing room and reminds me of the chimpanzee that randomly kissed me on the lips when I was a kid at the zoo haha ! love love love!

Love love love!!! Just wish I wasn’t working full time right now because I have a list of your tips and inspiration I want to try! Love your furniture and you have definitely fed my addiction for gilding! I have been desperate for a hanging monkey lamp for ages as I had a thing for monkeys as a kid, but never found the right one... I have a perfect spot, next to my brick fireplace and bargain find red armchair for a little added luxury in my favourite part of the living room! X
Used some of lockdown to create a new bolder area for my 5 month olds (Ted) toys. The gold monkey will be an awesome addition to his patch and help us detract from any of the horrid plastic we can’t hide. Lovin your work

Oooh I might try this on the crappy MDF cupboard doors I have in the loft. I want a really statement finish but the wallpapers I've seen are so expensive. I never thought about a good quality wrapping paper instead! They're like wardrobe doors but so boring, I pulled the veneer off them so it was plain MDF with the intention of painting put I'll see whether decoupage might be an option. If not I'm thinking paint and gilding the bottom of the doors so it looks like its growing up from the bottom... decisions decisions 😂 its only taken me 9 years to decorate the loft and make it the nicest room in the house thanks to all that MucknBrass inspiration!
Louise McKelvey We dell all our wallpapers by the metre just in case that helps. But yes using wrapping paper really opens some money saving doors 🙌🏻

I would love love love this lamp, monkeys are my absolute favourite animal, your my absolute favourite lady 💗 and we are due to move into a permanent house in two weeks after spending the last 8 weeks in temporary accommodation due to covid 19(it’s been tough) and it would be the best starter piece to making it our beautiful new home 🐒💗
