requiem and heaven stands rule everything, the thing is: mih's only purpose was to reset the universe, in wich he did. ger's purpose was to punish diavolo forever, in wich he did. tw:oh for example, was stronger than mih, stronger than ger too, since tw:oh's purpose was to be superior than all. mih also bypassed ger since it wasnt a direct atack to giorno, we all have to agree that heaven stands have either the same strength, superior strength or can bypass requiem stands.
hey, probably the reason you don't understand half of the stuff happening on the screen is because the author of the video decided to shorten the video, so they removed almost all the talks and slow-down moments that were needed in the anime to realize what the hell is even going on at the screen, lol if you would ever watch jojo, don't worry, it's not gonna be as confusing as it is here on the compilation :D

The way planet waves does it, it is. You can't target them, you are the target, which means you need to align yourself so that the target is between you and the meteor, which is trash, a lot of people in jojo and othet anime can use the same attack without that restriction
actually we don't know if the Pillarmen like Wham had stands. it's entirely possible they do but we can't see them because none of the protagonists of Part 2 are stand users. and considering part 8's rockmen (who are that 'verse's stand in for Pillarmen) *do* have stands seems not impossible that could be an explination you arrive at for a few of their powers. however, i do not believe araki had the idea of stands yet so it can only stand as an inuniverse explination
Some of these fights, without context, might confuse you. In the fight against Vanilla Ice, he was turned into a vampire by Dio, so that’s why he died in the sun and in the next fight with the Caesar vs. Wham, Caesar was using a technique called Hamon which is made specifically to counter vampires and kill them. His bubble techniques are able to conduct Hamon

kinda pointless to watch the fights without understanding why and how things work, jojos fights are all strategy and not knowing the verse kinda takes away the excitement, its not like crazy black clover or jjk or demon slayer fights where you can see whats going on and immediately understand it
yeah especially made in heaven's fight. To fully comprehend and appreciate whats going on, you need to 1. MiHs ability isnt infinite speed. Its accelerating the time of the entire universe AND the user can keep up with it. Therefore hes alot faster. 2. Everything that happens is thematic. The way the SO cast dies mirrors the Crusaders' deaths, Jotaro's humanity is shown in choosing his daughter, what defines a "Jojo" is the will they inherit through Emporio (similar to One Piece's Will of D), and then a shit ton more in the actual ending, the importance of sacrifice, etc.
It truly is sad how Stone Ocean ended. Truth is Gold Experience Requiem is canonically the strongest Stand in that timeline. If only they manage to get the help of Giorno Giovanna, they could have beaten Enrico Pucci. To hit you with the end result by skipping the process is such a broken ability. Like he can make you drown by skipping the need of water. He can make you just die from a hear attack straight. Sure granted Giorno wouldn't be able to win alone, but Pucci is not someone that they could taken on alone. If only Jotaro had help from Giorno and Josuke as well, they definitely would have won.
This is one of the "JoJo fans can't read" moments fr:D (just a dumb joke, not insulting you) First of all, you mistook Gold Experience Requiem for King Crimson, since that is what King Crimson does, although he can't make you die of a heart attack or anything of the sort:D It cannot control fates of others, so unless you mysteriously were fated to get random heart attack in the next 10 seconds, no Stand could do it, though yeah, KC is busted since if Epitaph shows him that he kills someone, the person is dead without Diavolo having to do anything for it to happen, just activate his ability and it's done. But Diavolo doesn't choose what Epitaph shows him since it's Fate itself that is shown. GER reverts enemy actions (and will to harm) that are aimed directly at Giorno to zero (it must be aimed at Giorno directly, it's why Made in Heaven universal acceleration worked normally, since it didn't intend to harm Giorno directly, it wasn't an attack on anyone), nullifying them by returning it to zero, including their deaths, hence infinite death loop, so unless you mean the heart attack happening in an infinite death loop, neither GER or King Crimson do those things. GER is absolutely busted, more than King Crimson which you describe, but yeah, wanted to point this out. Sure, they could have, but it was clear that Giorno and Jotaro weren't in contact ever, since that's how Araki decided, possibly because of how OP GER is in a fight, but also likely because Araki doesn't like bringing old characters back in newer Parts and likes to keep the Parts stand more on their own (Jotaro and Joseph being exceptions, Polnareff in P5 also was a last-minute decision from what I know from the interviews). If Giorno destroyed Pucci there and then, it would defeat the purpose of the Part and the end of the original timeline and made Jolyne's sacrifice void. Pucci winning was intentional so we could get Jotaro sacrificing himself to save Jolyne and then Jolyne sacrificing herself for Emporio who would then defeat Pucci via Weather Report (so as to finish Weather's promise) and get the Universe reset (and after Pucci dying, correcting the reset and getting a good ending where Pucci never existed and Jolyne, Jotaro etc. could have good lives without Dio's Curse because that would have died in Part 3 with Dio, because all Parts happened as they did except for Part 6 which never happened, including all the effects that Pucci had, because Pucci and Dio's followers recruited by him never existed as a result and thus, Jotaro could live in peace and be a good father for Jolyne instead of abandoning her to protect her since he was hunted by Pucci's assassins. Sure, it's not THE Jolyne and Jotaro who went through all that in Part 6 and before (Jotaro is still the same, except for Pucci-related stuff), but Araki confirmed the Soul of Irene etc. is the exact same Jolyne that died against Pucci, just with good childhood and without going through Part 6 events. The way Part 6 ending happened was fully intentional so Araki could finish the original series since that is what he wanted. He wanted to do a complete reboot with Part 7 in a completely unrelated new alternate universe, and that wouldn't be possible otherwise. Stone Ocean's ending is extremely fitting, it's just that most fans misunderstand it for various reasons.
@@mordraug6662 You seem to misunderstand the powers of King Crimson dude and you couldn't be more wrong. You can find the entirety of King Crimson's powers on the wiki and it explain in detail what it does. Firstly, Epitaph is a subset of King Crimson's Time Erasure ability and it allows the user to see 10s into the future from the user's perspective, through the bangs of their hair. This is why you can see in the opening when Diavolo is unveiled and he used King Crimson's Time Erasure, you can see the next few seconds of Giorno fighting shining on his hair and Diavolo was looking at his hair, which is exactly what Giorno did right after the ability ended in the opening. This is why when Bucciarati first encountered Diavolo and did the last blow and aimed at the pillar behind Diavolo, Diavolo didn't bother to dodge because he already knew the attack is going to miss but he also failed to see that Bucciarati did something to the pillar to counterattack and blindsided him and managed to escape. He saw 10s into the future from his perspective and he obviously don't have eyes on his back. So technically speaking, a backstab or an attack out of his vision or viewing range can totally bypass Epitaph. Secondly, King Crimson can delete/erase up to 10s of time. He does this by seeing 10s into the future and then deleting/erasing up to 10s of time that is unfavourable to him. Time still flows normally during the entire duration of him activating this ability, it is just that when the time is erased everybody had no memory of what happened in this duration because it is gone and does't exist anymore. People suddenly glitched and find themselves from point A to point B without remembering the process of going from point A to point B. He can also delete/erase the time when he is about to take damage, and then make attacks "phase" through him, which is how he dodged Narancia's Aerosmith attack and used it against Risotto. The most common and apt explanation of King Crimson's ability is that he can foresee the future and then alter the cause to change the effect to make it favourable to him and only him alone. Now if you recall in the last few episodes of Diavolo fighting Giorno after Giorno awakened Gold Experience Requiem, Diavolo saw exactly the future that is going to happen using Epitaph, but instead of doing what the supposed predicted future that he foresaw, Giorno completely did something different and bypassed what Diavolo foresaw. This is the power of Gold Experience Requiem. It ignores the cause and hit you with the effect/end result straight away. This is how he manage to do something that defies all logic and warp reality like trapping Diavolo in an infinite perpetual cycle of life and death. This is also why Gold Experience Requiem is a direct counter to King Crimson, because King Crimson sees the future and alters the cause to change the future into a favourable effect. Gold Experience Requiem doesn't care about the future or the cause and bypass everything to hit you with whatever end effect the user desires. Giorno made Diavolo experience an endless infinite death. This is why in the Diavolo dying loop scene, you see him die in so many different ways. The scene is an attempt to let us see and understand what is happening to Diavolo. From being stabbed to drowning to being disemboweled to all sorts of things, even though technically speaking all this happened in only an instant. Diavolo is trapped and made to experience, in a better lack of term, a Tsukuyomi from the Naruto franchise. Diavolo is trapped in a reality of experiencing himself endlessly dying. This is why the powers of Gold Experience Requiem is so broken. The only other ability that is close to being as broken is Killer Queen's Bites the Dust.
@@xorngoh7303 I will answer this, because I'm bored and because I want to add some stuff to my JoJo note collection, but let's not continue here since it's just useless arguing. We both have better things to do than this:D So I will likely not answer again so don't waste your time here needlessly, but thanks for the answer. I know exactly how KC works and you are right, what makes you say I misunderstood it, I guess because I only gave a simplified description of a specific instance of it. Yes, Epitaph's vision is not unbeatable (and Polnareff shows KC erasure can also be countered) since it largely depends on Diavolo interpreting it correctly AND having time to take a look at it (unless it shows him killing someone or such, in which case all he needs is to activate the ability of KC because KC erases the cause, especially of Diavolo doing the cause, so that only results that would have happened if he attacked remain - Narancia must have died this way, so would Giorno if it wasn't for GER, though there Diavolo would need to attack since it was meant to happen after KC ended). What I was referring to mainly was an instance of Epitaph that shows Diavolo killing/harming somebody which is how Narancia and Trish in the elevator must have happened. With the final pillar zip up by Buccellati that made him escape it was more like KC's 10s (or it could be any duration between, we don't know due to how random Anime time can be) prediction ended right where Sticky Fingers touched the pillar and prepared it for being zipped up, else it definitely could continue showing that Buccellati will escape, it's literally what Buccellati remarks right after. What does "from his perspective" mean, since Epitaph always seems to show a third person view of the prediction, not through Diavolo's eyesight, like Doppio's "death" in Metallica or him killing Giorno. I just simplified KC to one specific instance of it that best showed what you said about GER instead, since I didn't want to go into all the details because otherwise I would give a thrice+ as long reply as you did here, since I spent a huge amount of time analysing every detail/scene/dialogue of KC, believe me, I know how KC works, I have it all written down in detail. Contrary to popular belief in the community, I actually think KC is one of the most consistent Stands, but its nature being as such that it is cryptic and a lot of scenes are not directly shown and only implied means it leads to infinite debates regarding the details (the worst of them being how Trish or Narancia death scene happened and why did Bruno not move during the Erasure, acting as if time stopped instead, but Diavolo can't interact with anything during KC so it makes no sense etc., though I understand very well how it most-likely happened in a way that is consistent with how KC works - we can't know for sure because it's never shown directly, but we can make a very close guess based off of how KC works elsewhere). But I really am not in the mood to argue to such lengths, this already is insanely long (since I see that we could go ad infinitum), plus it's pointless to argue. Let's take a look at GER's description in the Manga and Wiki. The Manga translation I found says it "turns opponent's actions and will to zero", actually I found the Japanese original and it uses 攻撃, so it's an attack, not an action, so the fan manga has a mistranslation here. 「攻撃してくる相手の動作や意志の力を全てゼロに戻してしまう」- this is the original. My rough literal translation is "Opponent who is coming with an attack's MOVEMENT and WILL/INTENTION power [to attack as per the starting verbal relative clause describing opponent - to attack] (and some other things included) is returned (completely) back to zero" DeepL translates it as "It returns all of the attacker's movements and willpower to zero." which is good enough. It shows that Giorno cannot revert non-living things that fall on him without someone's intention since those have no will and are not "opponents", hence why it didn't revert Made in Heaven's acceleration. Opponent being important here, since it implies "someone who opposes Giorno", aka, "someone who has ill intent against Giorno" , basically an attacker or someone intending to hurt Giorno, which is given directly in the Japanese original. Encyclopedia Wiki (I hope you are using that one and not Fandom, else UFFF), calls it nullification as "... nullify the actions and willpower of anyone who opposes it, preventing their actions from becoming reality. Once struck by this effect, there is no escape, and the opponent will have every action they've performed reverted regardless of their ability. Those beaten by Requiem are nullified, even if they're killed: causing them to continuously experience death. This is seen in the case of Diavolo, who is forced to die perpetually after attacking Giorno. Through this ability, Requiem is able to create a new "truth" in which the results of every action Diavolo makes are made useless." Technically yeah... Giorno "did something completely different", but it is more that he simply returned Diavolo's attack starting with his time erasure activation to its starting point, including resetting Diavolo willpower to attack Giorno back to that point, preventing him from ever reaching the truth shown by Epitaph, which as GER stated, was the actual truth, but because GER reverted, it created a new "truth" where Diavolo never attacked Giorno. We know also that GER cannot activate during KC's Erasure, since it activated only after Diavolo ended his ability and attacked in normal time (though it still took the starting point the moment Diavolo started KC because his intention to do so was to harm Giorno. Yes, you are completely right that he rewrote Fate, GER is above Fate like KC can erase himself from Fate, It is meant to be the opposite of KC, one erases the cause of results (up to 10 seconds) so that only results remain (literally what Diavolo says in his introduction) and GER instead reverts back the result to the point right before the cause would start, even if the cause process was erased by KC. The problem I have is that you say GER is "It ignores the cause and hit you with the effect/end result straight away.", but that is how KC is explained like I say above and it is what Diavolo says himself when explaining KC. GER does have Fate/Reality rewrite as we see it nullifying Epitaph's absolute vision, but it is NOT creating Fate that user desires, it simply rewrites fate so Giorno is never harmed by an attack by reverting the entire process and will to harm Giorno to its starting point, nullifying/acting as if it never happened in the first place. Nothing remotely suggests what you say about GER here, especially since GER itself stated that Giorno is unaware of what it does, since GER operates automatically without Giorno's conscious desire/knowledge. But we know through Epitaph still displaying the fated result that GER simply made it so that Diavolo would never reach the fated truth Epitaph shows him, not because GER can "hit you with whatever end effect the user desires." but simply because any attack on Giorno results in it reverting said attack and will to do the attack to it's starting time, effectively nullifying the Fate to reach that point, but it doesn't ignore the cause and hits you with a result, that is what KC does, it does the exact opposite, it ignores result and reverts the cause back to zero, ignoring the cause as if it never started in the first place, thus preventing the attacker from ever reaching the fate that would befall Giorno through their cause/actions. And since this is its ability, if it kills someone, that person is put in an infinite loop of the user being teleported into alternate realities (let's call that) moments before dying in some way, only to revert back right before the person would die, reverting back to the starting point before GER's killing attack normally happened. Except it doesn't revert to GER doing the cause of the death, but random events. This is I think where you think GER can "ignore the cause and hit you with the effect/end result straight away" and "to hit you with whatever end effect the user desires", but like I say, this is not what happens during when GER attacks, nor when it is attacked, nor when it puts someone into a loop since the cause always happens during the death loop, it just keeps reverting the RESULT = death back to zero so the result of death never happens but instead reverts back to the beginning the said cause of death would happen, and it keeps repeating the cause again in another random event until right before the death again and it repeats infinitely, always in some new way - it's the opposite of what you imply, since that's what KC is (minus that Diavolo can't decide what end effect befalls his opponents, he can only erase his own fate and reactions to it/his erased actions, but not what Epitaph shows). KC ignores/erases the cause and only keeps the result. And Giorno has no knowledge of activating the loop or keeping it going, since GER is automatic, so we don't know what the random events in the loop are, whether it is GER creating them or what it is, it doesn't matter. And we know that it has no bearing on what the user desires, because GER functions outside of its user's knowledge (and Diavolo cannot control what Epitaph shows him, he is a slave to fate because of this even if he can erase his own fate up to 10 seconds - this GER conquering fate and it being the exact opposite to KC in order to make Diavolo pay for cheating his own Fate is a prime theme of Part 5). But yep, GER is the most broken power in the original universe combat-wise (otherwise it's Made in Heaven). Part 7 and 8 might have some that are possibly even more broken, but I'm not going to say which those are not to spoil, especially when I got them spoiled already:D

actually we don't know if the Pillarmen like Wham had stands. it's entirely possible they do but we can't see them because none of the protagonists of Part 2 are stand users.
and considering part 8's rockmen (who are that 'verse's stand in for Pillarmen) *do* have stands seems not impossible that could be an explination you arrive at for a few of their powers.
however, i do not believe araki had the idea of stands yet so it can only stand as an inuniverse explination

To fully comprehend and appreciate whats going on, you need to

This is one of the "JoJo fans can't read" moments fr:D (just a dumb joke, not insulting you)
First of all, you mistook Gold Experience Requiem for King Crimson, since that is what King Crimson does, although he can't make you die of a heart attack or anything of the sort:D It cannot control fates of others, so unless you mysteriously were fated to get random heart attack in the next 10 seconds, no Stand could do it, though yeah, KC is busted since if Epitaph shows him that he kills someone, the person is dead without Diavolo having to do anything for it to happen, just activate his ability and it's done.
My rough literal translation is "Opponent who is coming with an attack's MOVEMENT and WILL/INTENTION power [to attack as per the starting verbal relative clause describing opponent - to attack] (and some other things included) is returned (completely) back to zero"
DeepL translates it as "It returns all of the attacker's movements and willpower to zero." which is good enough.
Through this ability, Requiem is able to create a new "truth" in which the results of every action Diavolo makes are made useless."
Technically yeah...
Bro fucking vanilla ice part 3 almost made me cry
