It's crazy to think I've worked on every F-15E in this video...every tail at RAF Lakenheath, Seymour Johnson AFB, and Mt. Home AFB. Glad DCS can showcase this platform!

My first flight sim I ever played was F-15 Strike Eagle II as a young child in 1995. The legacy of flight sims, and seeing it fully detailed in stunning photorealistic detail ....gives me a cold chill down my spine. Dreams do come true.

Jane's F-15 was one of my first flight simulators and DCS is now bringing it back alive in my head.

I still have the OG collectors edition with all the goodies in it.
Yes I still have the Janes F15 manual around somewhere. And the original Falcon 4 ring binder manual for what its worth. Falcon 4 released in 98 was at least 10 years ahead of its time. I remember running it on a cutting edge 266mhz pc at about 20 fps. Ha ha ha.

Nice trailer team. I'll be ordering, I'm very excited about what RAZBAM have imagined for the radar, and the snippets we've seen don't disappoint. This is going to be a lot of fun, especially if you have a willing WSO friend, or even just a friendly back seat passenger. :)

I have always been a F-18 fan first, F-16 then Warthog...but this thing looks like a work of art. It helps that it is brand new using latest features of DCS at its core, so it gets an edge...regardless pre-ordered and standing by for license launch! Thank you to ED, RAZBAM, all 3rd party devs and community devs! DCS has such an amazing community!

@Oliver LeBot that is a very subjective response. I'm sorry you have had a bad experience. There will always be 10% turds wherever you go, so know that going into anything. Don't let the turds get you down, they always have the loudest voice. FYI, I was referring to development, not bad players.

I made an F-15E out of pillows and cardboard when I was 5 and ran missions wearing ski goggles and a Carrera Ski helmet. The Helmet really made you feel like you were in the "Danger Zone". 🤣

I can't wait for the MiG-23 trailer. Most trailers for DCS show the featured aircraft doing badass things. The Mig-23 trailer should just be footage of it constantly being shot down and flying on autopilot with no one in the cockpit.

I just tried again for a start on DCS. Got to training, Mustang, and that was it. Black screen, and my system rebooted. I don't have discord, sorry. I appreciate you reaching out tho, thank you👍

Okay, so my problems keep going. I completely reinstalled the game. And even after a reinstall, it crashes on load and blue-sceens my system. Can't get into the forums. Can't use my user name or password to log in to the forum because it doesn't recognise it. Tells me I'm locked out, and even after trying to reset my password, I get no confirmation email for a reset. Think that F-15E might have to wait a while longer 🤔

@Jason S Specs are good. Amd 5950, Rtx 3080, 32 gig Ram. I've finally discovered though the root of the problem. One ssd drive that would randomly disconnect then reconnect because of a faulty connection. The fact that it became problematic at the time I was trying to load DCS each time was purely coincidental. Happy too say I'm well on the way now to getting that F-15E👍

Spend most of my limited time in the Viper (in VR). Hornet sitting in the hangar next to the Tomcat (which I've only taken for a few test flights) and the Warthog. And now I absolutely must have the Eagle because I love them all! I'm a junkie 😵💫😂
As cool as the jet itself is gonna be, I'm pretty pumped for more Baltic Dragon content.

@@madaxe606 Indeed, such would be unbecoming of a chivalrous pilot, I suspect he would instead use R-24R's to make sure his opponent knows he is there, after all not doing so would be very cowardly don't you think? I suspect he would also make sure to fly at 2 score and 4 thousand feet to make sure his presence is well known, and of course would turn his RWR off as that is cheating unbecoming of a gentleman. Yes sir, I find myself most in agreement, and am glad to have found a fellow gentlemen in this game.

@@madaxe606 Why Sir, the metric system is unbecoming of a true pilot. It is used by commies who need to to compensate for the fact they cannot go 1000 knots and so must use metric to compensate. And 10 Trillion Rubles? I am insulted you think us so cheap so as to use that few rubles, no the only component that uses so few rubles on our jet is the padding for the ejection seat, rubles are nice and soft and perfect for relaxing into after you have splashed your 10th flogger. But fret not to assist your glorious missiles and to give them a 100% hit rate, we have introduced RCS modifications to give our jets the same RCS as a Korean Air 747. Good Day.

Hornet is my absolute favorite in DCS, but the Mudhen may change that in the near future even though i will miss SEAD and anti-ship. Best thing is, there is no need to purchase another grip or add any mfds to my simrig without sacrificing any immersion. Hopefully, winwing comes up with some F-15 grips for their throttles, that would be the cherry on top.
