Watching this video from New Zealand. Prayers and thoughts go out to all families affected as a result of the tornado. ❤ 🙏 especially those who lost a loved ones and also those whom are without homes. 😢
From what I’m seeing, this EF 5 territory. I relate this damage to the Tornado that went through Tuscaloosa 11 some odd years ago. May the Lord rest his hand of Mercy on the survivors. They’re going to need all the help that anyone can bring to them. ❤️
I've seen the Joplin Missouri twister, may 2011, but this one is absolutely horrible and I saw debarked trees, but this one took it all, when there are semi trucks on top of the pile of debris, the death toll, the water tower was knocked over, then thats when you know it's that bad and devastating.
This is not a fair statement. I was in Joplin a few days afterwards. Do not deny the extent of grief and loss of life and property. These people In MS. are going to be in shock and need a great deal of help for some time, just like in Joplin, and other communities hit by tornadoes.
From what I have seen, Rolling Fork suffered at least high-end EF-4 damage. It would not surprise me if there is a 50 to 100-yard-wide corridor of EF-5 damage.
I was following these storms last night using different radars and applications (Weather nerd). Just from how bad the inflow was on this storm i knew something bad was going to come of it. After i switched over to coefficient and you could one of the most defined debris signatures that i've seen in a long time. I cant imagine how it must have felt to see this storm first hand.
It's a miracle that no more were killed after seeing the pictures. May God bless these towns and communities and keep them safe with the upcoming storms.
This storm was terrifying! We're in Alabama and the same front caused multiple tornadoes here. Very scary and so sad for those poor people in Mississippi.
@billybrown7953 I know, but I'm always surprised by how many people don't understand that. We have two tornado seasons every year here and there are still people who refuse to leave their mobile homes when the sirens go off? Far too many people don't take the power of a tornado seriously.
As a builder, I highly suggest concrete domes 30 foot wide, to replace trailers which should be illegal in areas that are prone to tornadoes. They can be built just as cheap
There may be less fatalities because these towns are smaller in population, however, the damage is severe and it looks like Joplin Missouri in terms of damage, it will take a long time to recover.
damn RIP. Tornado happened here near Los Angeles and people just gather around watched it with awe and ignorance...not knowing how devastating it can get
I thought that tornadoes were an event that rarely ever happens around LA... if that's true, I guess they were curious to see a tornado for the first time 🤔
@@Bunkerdwarfputin It is true I saw a video of it. EF0 but you are correct that it is rare for Cali.. They gotta worry about earthquakes, floods, fire, and the not soon enough separation event. Learn to Swim
I live in tornado alley, and unfortunately I've seen this personally. My heart goes out to these people. The devastation cannot be captured in photo or video, you have to see it to understand what they're going through.
Are you in an area that can have basements or at least dig down enough to have some sort of storm shelter? Looking at the devastation of the houses, how did these people survive???
I take exception to when the reporter said, "severe weather season". Severe weather happens at any time and in the deep south and it particularly happens more often in the winter months. Not to belittle the human tragedy, but this wasn't even the first pds tornado warning in Mississippi in the past 6 months. Though, it was the first tornado emergency in a while so it very much was a tragedy.
Our planet is in real danger now. Every year the number natural disasters will be increasing. Here is a very important climate report 👉#CreativeSociety
I have been through Rolling Fork many times when I lived in Mississippi. My heart goes out to my former neighbors. It just looks like there isn't much left.
May The Lord comfort all victims of this natural disaster! ...and heal the injured, and give them essentials to go forward to rebuild better than before !!
SO SO SAD, THOSE POOR PEOPLES, LOST LOVED-ONES, HOMES, NEAHBORS, AND HURTING SO BADLY, MENTALLY PHYICALLY AND OF COURSE, THEIR HOMES N LIVES, DAMAGE IN EVERY WAY. SO SO SAD.,

@@Linda-hq8xq agree, this is the primary function of the government. Taxes paid for this very type of thing. Citizens are suffering and response teams should already be there. This administration is non functional whatsoever. One phone call by a sitting president could get the help these people need. To me not responding to this instantly requires some heads to roll. Been two major disasters in a month and all Biden cares about are the bank's. Why is the media not calling him out on this? Sent billions to Ukraine to kill each other. There's no excuse for this.
Mississippi homes very rarely have basements due to the water table and the soft clay found just about everywhere throughout the state. Same story for pretty much the rest of the Deep South too
@@marysheffield190 I agree, I wish more houses here did because they’re also good for extra space. Another thing that sucks about the tornado hitting that town is that it’s in the delta, so it’s super rural and pretty low income, so half the houses there were trailers which stood no chance against the tornado unfortunately. Would be nice if the state or communities invested in some shelters or something in that area though because tornados happen relatively frequently there
Prayers for those families, i'm too far away to help but i know when a tornado took half of our town that people came and so i've done what i could with blood donations for the red cross and volunteering but i pray some people closer are able to lend an actual hand.

I feel like the state needs to send therapists for the survivors. To see something like that has to change you.
The one that hit Joplin killed over 150 people that was pretty devastating same as the one that hit Tuscaloosa and in Oklahoma
