Hi David, yes indeed, I never had an issue with my inground pond but with the new pool I don’t expect to be able to keep the trout over summer. In fact I will offer them to good home. Let me know if you are interested 😉

Super boulot, je viens reposer une question n'ayant pas trouvé réponse sur une vieille vidéo (Celle sur maximiser sa production de poisson) où vous expliquiez que pour produire seulement des oeufs femelles il était nécessaire d'utiliser une femelle ayant subi un traitement hormonal et du coup je voulais savoir si il était possible d'acheter soit ce traitement hormonal ou alors des truites l'ayant subit pour pouvoir produire ses oeufs femelles chez soi ?
Hi Ronan. You will not be able to legally buy a neomale trout. Also I might be wrong but I believe you will need a prescription to get methyl-testosterone in France.

I would like to know whether steelhead trout are right for aquaponics. I have searched for information specific to steelhead, but can't find anything. Do you have experience with them?

Hi John, yes they are great for it. Steelhead is the rainbow trout and it’s great for aquaponics as long as your temperature profile is within their range (4 to 23 C)
@@jonathanmartinetto2344 I am planning an in ground tank, for thermal mass. I will be circulating the water through platnt beds to grow food for myself and the fish.
I thought steelhead was different from rainbow trout, and it made me hesitant. Thank you for the help!
