Mr Bill Burr is one of my all time fav stand up comedian. Hadn't seen that one so thanks for showing it. Always enjoy how he applies common sense reality into his humor and amps it up to 11 with his "anger" :D

Protecting your property in front of a crowd, nothing commands fear and respect like a pump shotgun; even the AR15 slides into the background when a 12/20 gauge pump is around. Can't go wrong with 00 buck shot, although for in house use, going as small as #4 buck may be better. (00 buck is 0.33" diameter and #4 buckshot is 0.24" diameter, meaning you can get many more #4 shot in the shell than larger 00 buck. But get some good instruction on safe gun handling and shooting. Pump shotguns are easy to learn, easy to use, safe, simple, reliable and easy to take care of. The guy in the gun store was right in his advice to Burr.
Private gun ownership is highly prohibited. Getting a gun license is much more difficult than actually committing a murder and getting away. That's why rich and powerful people provide mostly smuggled illegal guns to their henchmen/security. They being powerful, no one asks them to show license.
