Very good presentation. However, it should be split up into multiple presentations. Three to five presentations of 90 minutes would be enough. As the presentation goes further he becomes more and more complex which equals to confusing. Anyway, this could be furthermore explored term by term and concept by concept until complete understanding. Very nice Mr. Nick
So when he’s talking about having a linear model but combining it w/ daily undulated training, does that mean that both Novices and Intermediates can use it? And how do we determine if an athlete is a novice? Do we go by strength standards or training age?
He says the linear model has aspects of undulation because the intensity can change from day to day, which is still the linear periodization he is saying that can benefit novice lifters moreover advanced. I would say go by training age but also how long ago they have trained; someone with the right training age who have trained 6 months ago vs someone with the same training age but haven't lifted in a couple years will be in two completely different classifications.
so when the intensity changes from 90 percent of 1rm to 60 percent we moving into a more power for 3 reps but does the excercises still stay the same ?? copound?
Max strength endurance is the ability to perform more reps without stopping so say doing 20 bicep curls in one set one week and going to 25 reps per the one set the next week. Power endurance I believe it to be the ability to increase capacity to perform a lift like a clean and jerk for example for more reps than starting with without form breaking down or being able to maximally Sprint for 3 seconds longer than before.
You are right that there are a lot of good books on periodization, and we don't have just one to recommend. Here are some other videos on periodization that we can recommend: * Periodization and Programming for Strength Power Sports, with Mike Stone and Meg Stone | NSCA.com at ruclips.net/video/z53YuD3VrlU/видео.html * Conjugate Periodization, with Matt Wenning | NSCA.com at ruclips.net/video/kmH75hOQu6I/видео.html and

How come every single exercise related professor, lecturer, coach etc all look like they’ve never actually worked out themselves 🤔
Their wives destroyed them from all points of views, most of the through divorce grape or just through nagging etc.
