Jamie, when...or even why, would I use the 60 needle or the 72 needle cylinder? I ordered both with my CSM with a 60 needle ribber. Please help me understand the difference (and not just thst one uses 12 needles more). Is it finished size? I have been hand knitting the cuff, heel, and toes on a Size 1 U.S. needle (2.25 mm) using a 60 needle cylinder for the sock worm. Thanks, Vivian Ann on the side of the mountain in northeast Tennessee PS...we love the yarn we got from you.
2LadyHomesteaders Hodge the short answer is that you will most likely use the 72 for men’s socks and the 60 for women’s socks. I like the 60 because it divides by 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6!
Thanks Jamie; relaxing to watch. I have never attempted using crochet cotton!

@@jmemayfield ...thank you. So, the 72 makes bigger socks.
