As an ISF owner. I can tell you that this is an incredible vehicle. Power, grace and reliability. They just don't make cars like this anymore. I'm currently on my second one. Great video! Please do more Japanese cars.

@@rjj00 I made the tragic mistake of saleing it, thinking the grass was "greener on the other side". Shortly after purchased an E92 M3. The E92 is a fantastic vehicle but can NOT hold up as well as the ISF in reliability, interior quality components etc. The Lexus is superior.
Nice man, I'm also on my second. Got the 08 when I could afford it, and the 12 later. The 11+ are better polished examples and handle way nicer too. No issues with my first, the new owner put PPE headers+ exhaust on it and it sounds glorious. My 12 is FBO tuned.
@@juan9798 I'm just looking for a naturally aspirated V8 and both the E92 M3 and IS-F came to my attention. I'd guess the M3 would drive better (sportier) and the engine might be more f6n due to 8.5k redline?
It still stuns me how we don’t see more of these RCFs, ISFs, GSFs, LCs on the road. Marvelous sound and not unusable fast like everything else these days.

I have an IS350 but these things are absolutely thrilling to ride in. The gearbox is insanely quick at shifting too.

This is an amazing car6and personally I prefer it more than the m3 of its generation. But let's be real, it is NOT a M3 killer. Not even close. It beats the M in everything but performance but still not a killer.

My father used to own a manual E92 M3 back in 2007-2009, and I loved it. But my dream V8-powered car is from Japan tbh, this car is insane.
I love this generation of V8 small sedans so much... m3 e92, rs4 b8, c63 w204, is-f... are wonderful cars and it’s sad to say they are not fast these days😞

Almost 140k km, and 9.9sec for 423hp, amazing!
I had an IS-F and it was great, especially the noise.
I've now got a GR Yaris and it feels a bit quicker 0-130 but above those speeds the IS-F comes in to its own as you can see in the 100-200 times.
Oh no. Not to discourage you but... Why did you get a Yaris, I know it's a GR but it's still a Yaris... 😬 Despite how fast it is, they aren't a car that is likeable

Let's be honest: We all know, that most of the rival cars are faster than the ISF. Especially the M3, not to mention the M4. HOWEVER, good look finding any other performance car that drives like brand new with more than 300'000 km on the clock. The ISF is an absolut beast, because it will reliably perform when other cars have been molten down for years. There are examples of ISFs with more than 500'000 km that pull just like they did on day one. To me, this makes the ISF one of the best perfomance sedans of all time. I would buy it anytime over an M3, C63, RS5 etc.
The isf is faster than the m3 if you now how to drive them . Let it rev or RR racing tune to get the 7400 rev limiter
nope this js faster than an e92 m3, and is Not at all comparable to a m4 which is much newer

Nice recording ! I enjoyed it very much because i own a 2010 IS-F as my daily to work etc. Except for fast driving,this beast is also very suitable to cruise on much lower speeds,not so nervous like "steroid-cars" .It's very nice to know that you have much power under the hood and sometimes i flush the second intake ;-)

The LS460 which can be had for basically peanuts these days can hit max speed of 283km/h. It has same transmission as this and a smaller size 4.6L but is the same engine. It isn't geared as low which makes it have the higher speed.
That transmission is not as well tuned as the ISF's.
lmao i have both cars, not even close to comparable and the aa80e trans is only in the rare sport model, the trans is super slow in the regular ls460
