My favorite nifty tool is the snap on test light. Looks pretty awesome. And i totaly agree on the soldering iron. Been useing it since tuesday and has been awesome so far. Only dislike it the fact that mine feels loose and plastic compared to the powerprobe iron. But it seems so far to be extremely versital. Will be cool to see how mine holds up over time.
My favorite for this episode is the soldering iron. I have butane and battery powered versions, they don't get hot enough fast enough. May have to try out the Matco. The indexing ability is a nice bonus
Really intrigued by the Milwaukee ratcheting wrenches. Perfect timing as I'm looking to replace a really old and worn out set. Thanks!
Really liked the Matco soldering iron. A good iron makes all the difference in quality soldering. Thanks for producing cool videos!
My favorite nifty tool was the Snap-on USB test light. I do a lot of wire chasing under dashboards, so I could see this coming in handy. A close second are those Milwaukee wrenches, I think they may join the arsenal. Awesome video Rustbelt!! 👍👍
I really recommend the Capri or Matco (if you don’t mind paying a little extra) extractor wrenches! They are awesome! I would give them a try if I were you. I live in Wisconsin so rust is of course a problem here too, and I tell you what, rusty castle nuts that seem to have never been off on a 95’ Lexus ls400, the wrenches didn’t slip a bit.
I love the flex head wrenches. Especially the fact that they are no skip sets.
I think that Matco Soldering iron is pretty sweet. I like the milwaukee wrenchs but i feel like sometimes they may not be able to get into tight spaces where as the snap on ones i have will. I've seen people get burned (bad diag) from a digital test light, i have one but rarely use it i like my otc test light the best. But measuring voltage drops i can see where the digital one can come in handy.
I really like that Matco Solder iron. The magnetic base would be great, always worries me when setting down my butane solder iron when it's hot if I'm gonna burn something.
Definitely have to check into the milwaukee wrenches always need more grip in Michigan on rust lol
Also from Michigan, can confirm!!
Those Milwaukee wrenches look pretty darn nice!
Try using a heat shield and no tip I been soldering that way for years sounds insane but takes 15 seconds from start to finish less butane used soldering iron last years and you will never ever use a tip again. I evan do chevy ignition wires and vw wires with out a problem ( gps installer for 23 years )
Hello again Rust Belt Mechanic
Thank you again for another Great Video. All the tools you mentioned today are a Great Option. I just wish Milwaukee would have come out sooner with the ratcheting wrenches. Keep up the Great Videos!!!!
The soldering iron/butane torch, interested me most. I liked the max burn time at highest temperature.
As a new tech, I’m really loving those ratcheting wrenches. Trying to build my tool collection is definitely a struggle. But these vids definitely help. Thank you
It’s tough to know what wrenches you really need without buying some you don’t end up using. For me a nice set of non ratcheting combination wrenches and a set of the xl double box like Mountain or Platinum takes care of at least 99% of jobs
I think my favorite nifty tool is the wrenches with the extra grip . Great video klye thanks for sharing.
Those were some pretty cool tools this week. As a Milwaukee guy I’m loving on those wrenches!! Milwaukee keeps turning out quality tools! Thanks for the show!!
Those clicks on the Milwaukee wrenches was satisfying
Really diggin those Milwaukee wrenches. Price point is not bad either. Been looking into a set of ratcheting wrenches.. 🤔
I really like that soldering iron, but I’m a sucker for wrenches. Especially ratcheting wrenches. Have to pick those up! Great vid!
My favorite tool you showed today was definitely the soldering iron, and the price is awesome
Great video. All good choices on the tools, but I like that Matco soldering iron the best.
i likes the soldering iron the best i have the power probe and love it but that's a really nice design and the magnetic stand might really help out while i let it heat up
My nifty tool recommendation is
Vim Magrails. In my opinion hands down the best socket organizer. also I have them stuck too my roll cart lid. Top, middle and bottom and use them too hold extensions or wrenches.
The power probe soldering iron takes a while to warm up, hard to put down when it’s hot and I wish it had a clear tank like that. Overall the convenience of not having to run an extension cord is worth it.
My favorite nifty tool is the soldering iron. That looks like a nice kit.
That soldering iron is interesting for me. Might have to buy one from my dealer. Especially at that price point.
That soldering iron seems to be a difference maker in its design and temperature capability so going with that as my favorite.
I like the wrenches but would have liked to see a selector switch
I’m really interested in the soldering iron, especially at that price point! Don’t have a Marco dealer but I might have to see if I can pick one up. Thanks for the info!
My favorite nifty tool was the Milwaukee wrench sets. I'd love to have both of those!
The Milwaukee wrenches are great. I have both sets.
The 12 V Digital Display Circuit Tester with USB Plug I really liked.. thanks
I really like the Milwaukee flex head ratcheting wrenches.
I loved that test light as I'm inside cars all the time and it can be hard to find a ground sometimes
I want the soldering iron!! I have the regular clamp snap-on tester and love it!! The Milwaukee wrenches look good too! I want it all!
The test light's nice, but it would be better if it had alligator clips too for when you're not inside the vehicle. That seems to be manufacturer's way of making sure you buy multiple tools
I really like those wrenches I think those would be a great thing to have. The handle design is neat.
The matco iron soldering kit was the best one but i also like the Milwaukee wrenches. I always enjoy your nifty tools .
the Milwaukee flex head ratcheting wrenches are very good. I use in my house where i don't have a hoist and a non flex head wrench is too long
Hello Kyle. The new tools are awesome. The nifty tool I liked is the Milwaukee wrench sets.
SAE Milwaukee Ratcheting Wrenches look neat. You should review Sonic Tools. Ive always liked their quality and i have the Metric Wrenches
Sweet!!!! Going to get a bar of that soap! Thanks
Don’t really have any Milwaukee hand tools. May have to try those wrenches out.
Those Milwaukee wrenches are extremely nice Milwaukee had been stepping up their game their soldering iron is the best so far
My favorite nifty tool from the video was the open ended wrenches from Milwaukee, I am also in the rust belt and I think after seeing this video I'm going to have to snag me a set!
Bonus suggestion for nifty tools would be the mayhew cats-paw o-ring removal tools, they come in extremely handy for removing tight o-rings, especially in places where you may have to be careful not to Knick the mating surface or if you can't get a flat-head screwdriver in there.
Thanks for the suggestion 🤘🏻
I don’t have any Milwaukee tools but I really liked those wrenches
My favorite nifty tool was the usb test light
Matco soldering torch is the coolest of the tools. The magnetic base is something I would like to have.
That Matco soldering iron looks awesome
That soldering iron looks handy
i'm really looking forward to the soldering iron kit.
My favorite nifty tool is the test light
By far the test light I really need to get a digital test light ASAP!
Dawm I like that matco soldering gun too bad I just bought the snap on one off the truck 😭
I do like the matco torch that would be useful
Those Milwaukee wrenches were pretty friggen nifty!
Those wrenches look sweet!
That standing magnet mount in soldering iron kit is definitely my next purchase
I really like the Milwaukee wrenches, pretty pricy but nice!
Those Milwaukee wrenches are awesome. I’m a big time Milwaukee guy myself. Good quality power tools. Great video brother.
144 teeth makes the wrenches the best tool
I actually really liked that USB test light! So my Snap-On man might need to get me one of those ASAP
Hello again Rust Belt Mechanic
I was watching the Video for a second time and found myself thinking how is butane and electric soldering irons are different? I've done very little soldering and usually pretty ugly lol. Again thank you
I really want those Milwaukee wrenches. They look awesome!
Loved the wrenches they would work great on school buses.
The milwaukee wrenches were nifty
Test light is pretty dope
The soldering iron would have been great last week for repairing rodent damaged equipment. I have the power probe and you right the solder just slides off .
HEY!!!!!! Guess what...... YOU WON!!!! Thanks right, you won the giveaway that I just announced live on my latest livestream. Please contact me via instagram messenger directly or email me at therustbeltmechanic@gmail.com so we can get you your years supply of Knuckle Scrubber Handsoap!
Digging the soldering tool
Love the solder iron
Can you review a few of the Milwaukee sockets and ratchets?
May or may not be testing some Milwaukee Ratchets right now 😏👍🏻
I'm really enjoying all the soldering iron stuff you've been showing as most of the stuff I do is nowhere near electricity! So that being said the soldering iron is my favorite this time! Do you have to buy special solder everytime you run out? Keep up the the good work!
I don’t believe so, I’ll have to check on how much the solder refill on this set is.
@@RustbeltMechanic thanks
That soldering iron is exactly the same as my kinchrome
I brought in my 2018 Sequoia to a Toyota dealership. I was experiencing electrical issues. The windows, the radio and the shifter were not working. They normally charge $140 for diagnostic, but this time they charged me $420 for diagnostic because they said it was 3 different areas to diagnose. Finally they discovered it was a couple of blown fuses & missing fuse. Did I get scammed?
I am really
Liking the Milwaukee wrench
The the Milwaukee ratcheting wrenches
I like those milwaukee wrenches.
Match soldering iron
Milwaukee ratcheting wrenches
Can you do bluepoint or snap on air hammer review?

Soldering irons are the Bain of my existence I swear they all are frustrating I'm am very curious how this will hold up im not jumping on with any new Soldering irons unless it's bullet proof great video thanks rustbelt!!
Try the Milwaukee
@@aayesher9400 not hot enough just like he was saying Milwaukee only gets to 1400°
@@CPthetooladdict gotcha.. yeah that's a limitation. Maybe try the heat shield that another commenter was talking about instead of a tip
I’m really digging the soldering iron, I’m just starting to learn how to solder and the hand down one that I have is definitely increasing the learning curve. Thanks for showing off some more awesome tools, I always see something that I want to add to the tool box.

Could you possibly start moving your camera in a little. There's so much dead space around you and zooming in would let us see the tools better. Just a suggestion. Thank you

I got a question for you. I have a daughter with a 4&3 y/o autistic and severely asthmatic. I want to gift her a car (no more than $20k) what brand/model would you recommend. Thanks in Advance and God Bless 🙏
I won the scan tool . Can't wait to get it. Been needing something to dig deeper into systems for brands i don't work for , since I work for Kia , I don't really have a tool that can do bi- directional functions on my personal cars and side work. I'm pretty happy about it !
