Here I am looking at the Intel Nuc 11 NUC11ATKC4 Atlas Canyon Mini pc featuring an Intel Celeron N5105 cpu. We take look the outside, take it apart and look at the inside, look at the upgrade options, and run a little ChromeOS Flex on it. It also runs Linux and comes installed with Windows 11 Pro. Наука
YES. I am also going to do ChromeOS Flex. Linux Mint too slow and quirky. Abandoned Windows years ago. Thanks for the great video.
Glad you liked it, I have been using Flex as my daily driver for months now and things have been going good
Quick and easy, thanks!
Can you disconnect and/or removal all wireless connectivity? If so, will it run without issue with it disconnected? Need something low power for air gapped crypto stuff.
What does that 9-pin connector at the front of the device do?
It's for panel LEDs, & reset switch
Sorry I am a bit confuse. The amazon link you provided is linked to a product under the brand Geek+. Are they the same?
yes, that is just the vendor I got it from, they sell it packaged with ram/ssd and win11. you can also get it from other places bare bones and supply your own ram/ssd, such as b&h photo
Can you confirm me what you get inside the box .
1nuc, 1 adopter,1 power cord, screw ,user manual
but I did not receive the plate. Did yours have a mounting metal plate in the box?
i have a Nuc 11 essential: 1 nuc, 1 adapter 65W (Huntkey OEM), screws, manual inside the box (don't have power cord and metal plate)
Nuc Pro have metal plate but still not have power cord 😋
I see this video is 6 months old so the same item is now $195 on Amazon and I just ordered the one with twice the RAM and twice the storage for $245.
Hope it works out for you, mine is still running good, i have it up 24/7 running linux
@@BrandonStecklein Just noticed my comment sounded a bit snarky. Didn't mean it that way but I don't think you took it that way. Rock on.
how your beelink died?
6 months since upload does the device still work?
Yes, it has been running as a server 24/7 without issue!
@@BrandonStecklein Hi,
I'm planning to buy one and put 32gb of ram in this NUC.
Planned to use this as a computer for word/excel and to access remote computer.
Would that help with the sluggishness using windows 11?
I'm going to disable any kind of animation in the Windows.
