@@zimwmw Actually, he sounds more good than 2009 now. Watch this video, there is still some hope for his voice ruclips.net/video/pioMGrPcRhY/видео.html
I think that has a lot to do with the fact that he was in a bad state of mind during this part of his life. He didn't care if he ripped his fucking throat apart while singing back then. Now adays he thakes care of his voice, and doesn't push it to the limits like he did on the Iowa tour cycle. He is good live now as well, but I would do anything to go back in time and see Slipknot live 2001 -2002!
The scream of Corey was fucking insane in 2002, as brutal as a monster. But his current vocal is still pretty impressive considering he's 48 years old now.
@Alex Doge better taken care of. Corey broke his voice because of screaming like this. He finally took the safer way to scream without damaging his voice. 2019 Corey is great but 1999-2001 was something else man, out of this world.
Slipknot in 2002 was so sic... imo that was their best, most brutal year and If I could go back in time I’d start off in 1990 and party through the grunge era and then prepare for 1999 + and the brutality of slipknot, Korn, limp bizkit, evanescence, linkin park, Marilyn Manson etc. and go to all the good live shows
Being a person that's been listening and going to their shows since 2000, the one weird thing I've noticed is that Corey holds the microphone a little further away from him as the years go by. I know nothing about mics but did the tech just get that much better that he can hold it a foot away from him or something?
I think he does that because of the technique that he uses today Probably the Iowa scream didn't have any projection, even though it was so brutal... But fry screams tend to be very loud, so that's why u gotta move the mic away

i know but those raw screams of self titled and iowa will always be some of the best vocal performances in metal ever. Raw screams sound the best but hurt the most as well reason why Corey is whispering in interviews back then
@@kingkosher6231 nah hes right, he sounded fuckin crazy back then but damaged his voice for a little. Nowadays he screams with more tehnique and he care more about his throat & voice :)
I love hearing his Iowa scream...its so brutal.
Corey Taylor of 2009 sucks! hahahaha, but this Corey Taylor, OMG
because of this brutal scream he sounds fucked up now...even though its kinda sucks but it's for his own health...
agreed…but Eyeless is still my favorite

Especially since he is also in Stone Sour
Corey's screaming sounds great in this song's live performance here.
Okay, thanks, love you too

Had this show been before Disasterpiece London Concert or after? Pretty sure It was that time around
0:26 the light hates Chris
Fucking golden!
I wonder why they seldom play Left Behind in recent years. This song is a fucking masterpiece and Corey's vocals are quite good now.
Pretty fucking gnarly..

@StoDaBest Of course bro, but that's normal bro..you can't kick it forever...he's human

This wasn't in Milan
is there anyone that has the entire concert? Qualcuno ha il concerto per intero?
