Shihao at most only treat her as a close friend he had to protect,but her love especially In this episode so obvious and touching😢😢 I know this can be considered a happy ending since shihao end up spending his life with his 3 wife and this is a harem series but if we see this in a deeper way I feel she deserves better and shihao don't deserve her!! Shihao had never consider yunxi as someone he would love or take as a wife. It was not until he was nag by his mom again and again and he had guilt for yunxi as she abandoned everything for him. if not he would have never accepted this marriage. Mainly he rejected it cuz at that time he still think about linger and even tried to use a method to earse her and yunxi was AWARE about it but still gladly accepted it😢😢 which resulted in her getting neglected for awhile After shihao reliaze what he did he started to take responsibility for her. Yes she deserves a happy life but what the point. I assume since they spent 2 life time with each other and even had a child I'm sure he would alr develop feelings for her but clearly it's not strong. Especially when I read chapter 1915 WTF?? after yunxi thought she was gonna die due to lifespan ending she said her real feelings. Something along this line "I'm happy, happy I have u for myself for 2 lifetime after I die go and find linger don't put your heart in a cage" that line ! It made me so sad it clearly shows shihao feelings alr. I feel so bad for yunxi. Clearly she deserves a better person. 😢😢 donghua that has many wife is just bs in my opinion as mc love would never be fair. Let's be frank but in harem series there's no such thing as equal love and yet their wife did so much for them just to share a husband.
They actually did, they even had a kid but this scenario is way later in the series currently can be read in Novel. Spoiler alert, after becoming couple for a few years yun xi life was coming to an end and so was sealed by shi hao in order to preserve her longer life expectancy and this goes the same for yue chan/Qing yi but yun xi is shi hao first wife, then yue chan and then huo ling er which they all had a kid with shi hao but yun xi and shi hao kid… not going to spoil too much
