Donny osmond has said he's his musical hero and he did a cover version of Ma Cherie amor with Stevie playing harmonica so there is definitely mutual respect.
To see that he is a star in the presence of someone who is a star in his own right is powerful.

Stevie, such a beautiful song, lyrics melody just perfect ONE of my favs of his. Watching cause of Stevie, nice bit with D Osmond.
If i was next to Stevie like donny was, i would probably become emotional also. To me, it was a vocal masterclass although at times it sounded as if Stevie was playing catch up with the band. Otherwise, it was great! Donny is like Cliff Richard in that they both possess beautiful singing voices!

He has to be one of the ten best artists of the 20th C. I love "Isn't She Lovely." I remember my parents had the album Talking Book? Raised on R&B, country, top 40, back when all genres passed over each other on the way up the charts.
