- Hello everyone! Today, we're going to take you through an exciting DIY journey of making two bespoke pillar caps using concrete and Brocken glass.
Firstly, we began by creating custom molds for the pillar caps. We then filled the molds with ready-mix concrete, which provided the foundation for the design.
Next, we polished the Brocken glass and inserted it into the concrete structure. This added a unique touch to our project, giving it a shiny, classy look.
Finally, we removed the molds and revealed our two beautiful pillar caps. The results were stunning!
We hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial on how we made these unique pillar caps. If you're inspired to try it yourself, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to our channel for more exciting DIY projects. Until next time, happy crafting! - Хобби

I’d love to come and see you do it and hopefully learn a bit about it so,I can have a go 👍🏴 message me
The top surfaces should be sloped to shed water at not less than say, 10deg. Without it water will hang on the top and it will get green and slimey very quickly. Also, there needs to be a throat under the edges all around to prevent water backtracking to the pier where it will cause ugly staining running down the pier.
I am surprised that the formwork was built effectively upside down as it was obviously difficult to tamp..
Bla bla bla 👍🏴
Old school bespoke👍🏻 tidy butt 👍🏻
Plenty more of them to come too 👍🏴
Very nice
Cheers paul 👍🏴
They look great Scott and that mix would make a great counter top, they'll be people up and down the country digging out their old gin bottles and brown ale bottles now to give it a go! Excuse my ignorance, would you mix all the different aggregates together and then portion that 4 aggregate, 2 sand and 1 cement? Also that sand seems to be a red color so you would need something similar I guess.
Just mixed it all together the same time but next time im definitely going to clean the aggregate first get all the dust off 👍🏴
Good job there's no yanks in here, they'd be telling you that you didn't add 300 feet of rebar.
There my second biggest audience and sometimes they do go on a bit lots of bla bla bla 👍🏴
Might give this a go matey, as a carpenter I think I could make a pretty fancy chamfered mold. My worry though is polishing it up, is there any significant risk to breathing in powdered glass? I know you wore a paper mask but not sure if that would prevent me coughing up lumps of meat haha
Invest in a decent mask. Can't buy Refurbished lungs on amazon
Totally agree and on the cash with a donor 👍🏴
Yeh I here you and the mask I was wearing was shit 👍🏴
Looks awesome....I always think these kind of caps would look good as a pyramid shape, bit heavy I guess
Thanks for the input I’m taking all suggestions for my next idea 👍🏴
Nice.
Thank you! Cheers! 👍🏴
cool that mate probably about £35 for a basic one in the builders yard .
Exactly and there shite normally bugger that I’ll make my own 👍🏴
Yeah better to have something unique was it for your own house ? @@tidybrickslandscaping
@@mdmconstruction no some complete random person who didn’t have any that’s the best part of it 👍🏴
