I mention cheating, but not in the way that you think...
p.s. I mostly focused on tests given by teachers/professors, not standardized tests.
p.p.s. for those who are interested, the 4.0 that I mentioned was unweighted.

Giselle Rivera. Me to. Well I hope not I just heard that the grades are realy bad
Hi
Senpai 69 me
Ali Alghazali sup
One tip that worked for me:
memorize your lessons as if it’s a gossip about a celebrity or something you’re interested in.
Thank you so much! I love doing this when I study for history!
ima do that
It's true somehow I know all the words to big mouth songs but I forget all my homework
So like "omg washington how could you dO THAT?"
Test: what did Washington do?
Well fIRST HE-
I feel like this is hard for subjects that are more technical. It definitely could work for humanities, though.
For those who need to get to work asap
1. listen and interact
2. practice makes perfect
3. 80/20 focus on 20% and get 80x results
4. cheat sheet, stuff you find hard to remember
5. memorisation is everything
6. double check yourself before you double wreck yourself
Isabel Adora thank u 🌸
You da real mvp💜
NOt in MATH. In math UNDERSTANDING IS KEY (unless your doing proofs)

My favorite study skill is probably studying as if im going to teach the material as opposed to preparing as if im going to be taking a test . it REALLY helps!
Kali Turner thanks I really like this idea!!
or both girl 😉
That's one part of Richard Feynman technique. I heard it's quite effective.
This works until you start taking courses like ECE 3200 Semiconductor Devices or ECE 4200 Communication Systems and you as well as your friends no longer understand underlying theory. Fuck it, I just memorize the process now.
Kali Turner so true! Every time I've studied this way I end up learning more than I did before. I feel the need to go more in depth of the subject to teach my (invisible) "students". don't wanna let them down😂
She reminds me of Spencer from PLL
I thought that toooo!

Omg yeahhh I was trying to think of where I saw her before lol
"If your eyes aren't involuntarily crying from studying so hard, you're not working hard enough" 😂
That actually works lol, studying until you cry. Not healthy but hey, at least it works

LOVE IT!!! KEEP IT SIMPLE
I tried that already...
It doesnt work....😝
No
It does work but i gets you like a 95 percent not a perfect 100
I think I trust YesRenau so much is because in the beginning of the year I watched one of her videoS before my first for AP Bio Test. Got a 95! Next few tests? 96, then a 98. Im getting a little tired of studying now and her videos just re-motivate me
Mick SW wow that's great! Congratulations! And thanks for motivating me.
What video did you watch at the time?
Eman fattani I watched her study tips video & and her 6 tips to stop procrastinating. And one thing you’ll hear a lot is double check ur work she’s right.
She has a lot! Do you mind putting the specific study video that she made :) thank you !
Bro plz I really faced a problem with bio .how do u get such marks
What if your teacher doesn't teach?

How to get a perfect score on a test:
1. Study
It's just not that easy
@@terrysmith9851 true
Yeah no i don't want to waste 4 hours on for an A on a test
And sleep and eat and shower
i study the hardest in my class and still get the lowest grades in the class so lemme tell ya that shit doesn’t work all the time

Thank you so much. I really want a new start. I failed 2 classes and I'm getting a second opportunity to pass them in summer school. I really hope all of these work. I'll be back in 3 weeks for a final update to whether this was successful or not :D SOUNDS GOOD ME THOUGH!
PRACTICE MAKES HABIT.
Just sayin.
(although it doesn't matter here . . . sort of)
It’s hard for me to concentrate because I daydream a lot
i like RUclips video editor de la empresa para la empresa que me enviaste
YesReneau WOW 💞💞💞
I listened to these tips about a week ago and went from a 63% to a 90%!!! Thank you so, so much, and yes these tips actually work!
shut up.. you're joking right ?
Practice makes PROGRESSION
Me: Test is tomorrow
Also me: procrasinate and study and convince myself that I will pass.
Thank you so much for this awesome video! Your videos are spectacular and your added humour is so lovable. I had a French quiz today and it went great! I usually hesistate to check my test/quiz/work because I often change my correct answers to the wrong one. However, I still took your advice and because I did, I caught two mistakes on my quiz, changed them, and scored full marks on my quiz. Thank you so much for all your amazing inspirational videos, not only have you given me some genius tips to getting better grades, you've also taught me some life lessons. Thanks so much for all your videos, Reneau!
You are the best person to listen to while doing homework and I check over tests until someone else goes up because I most likely don't know where to turn in my test and if I turn it in or it gets collected
i really love the way you're being honnest with the viewers, not like the tons of youtubers we could find in every corner of youtube (technically there aren't any corners but you get my point)
Thanks i had 87% on maths and now i got 96%and i got a playstation 4. I dontnow how much to thankyou God bless you.
You know you're doing everything right when you already are following this rules naturally. Yassssss
@Gabriel Gonzalez that was 3 years ago, I'm actually level C1 studying business English, philosophy and psychology sooo....
You are a LEGEND for making this. Thank you.
Your videos always motivate me so I always rewatch them over and over. Thank you!

I had no idea you went to Harvard! I want to go to Harvard to study law and I'm only in middle school, going into 8th grade and I have gotten a 4.0 every trimester, every year since middle school. (Because we didn't use letter grades in elementary school) So lucky to be hearing from a fellow nerd and Harvard graduate!! And thanks for the advice! :)
Hey thanks for the awesome videos you keep making. They are always energetic, fun to watch and educational
What I always do is go through every page in the textbook/course-book chapter and literally write down what I learned in every single concept in the unit, complete with examples, color coding, and diagrams (and flashcards if needed). It takes a long time but it's so worth it - you never miss a detail and it can really give you an edge for that 100%, especially in AP/IB courses. :)
Awesome video! I love your advices because they're effective and instantly applicable. Can you do a video on how to understand a difficult concept on your own and what do you do when you're stuck? I would love to hear from you, thank you for everything you do,love you❤️
School is so helpful I'm so glad I can find the circumference of a circle when I don't plan on getting a job that involves geometry in any way and I can just look it up later
Great work YesReneau! You have really gave out some go headers to grades that I agree to all the way! Keep up the good work!
this is why I follow you. your so freaking cool and lift me up a little bit and I know i am not the only one going through things. ur the best
I NEED THIS THANKYOU
I can’t be the only person watching this because they have to take the state test and exams in person 🥴🤧
Yesssssssssssss. I mean I have learned a lot this year but like I don’t wanna go 😭😭😭😭
I didn't learn nothing🧍🏻♀️
I love your channel! You're showing that being a nerd isn't such a bad thing! People tend to hide it but there's nothing to be ashamed of :) Some people like playing football, drawing, singing and some people just like studying! Don't stop doing it just because you feel pressure of your schoolmates.
The last one is golden for me because I cannot tell you how many times I lost points on a test for the not double checking and reading the question through properly. Test time is YOUR time! Don’t rush through, it’s not a race, especially if your in college because you’re pretty much paying for that time to get tested, so use it!
On that notification squad , love your videos
Oh my gosh! I am SO glad I found you!!😱😭 I have been struggling with my studies recently and I've been a straight "A" student for pretty much all of my life. This video is very helpful and it has a hint of humor in it as well, unlike some other RUclipsrs. I hope that I can keep using your life hacks to help me get back on track!🤗👍

Can't believe you uploaded this right before my test tomorrow😂 love ur videos by the way, I was waiting for a new one😍
Man, I guess I'm just getting dumber. I was a straight A student untill 4th grade then I got my first B in 5th. Now I'm in 7th and I got my first C, not on my report card just my progress report.
David Ruffin classes get harder as you get older?
Nah, you aren’t getting dumber. In fact, your exactly the same level as you were on 4th Grade. Now, in year 7, you are still at Grade 4 Level...
Perhaps you weren't focused anymore like you used to. Knowing that the level of difficulty keeps on ascending as you go to higher levels, your study habit and schedule should increase as well. It's a direct relationship. The harder it gets, the more time you allot for it.
same here I was straight as but now in 8th grade is the first time I made below an a or b
Stfu and stop feeling sorry for yourself
THE.MOST.USEFUL.VIDEO.EVEER Thank you so much

You can do it!!!
Well no but you’re getting there. This is just a piece that they want, Harvard and other Universities/Colleges want to know why you stand out and what is your passion, be unique. That’s just a small summary.

Actually i don't care. I don't care if they said that. At least i have 90% above not like them.

Can someone please help me? I have 10 subjects to study in two weeks. I have to go over everything I have ever learned in those classes! Please help me anyone, I would really appreciate it!!
Grace Muir make a schedule where you have a specific time to study (use the tips on the video maybe) a specific subject and really follow it.
But it’s the end of the year
Math: B
English: A-
Science: B+
History: C
Spanish: A
PE: C
Intro to tec: A
Good enough
Ooh nice grades
This is the first video I watch from you but I already love you because of the poster in the back :)
Thank you i know that i learned a lot today!❤
Please do more academic videos like this thank you!!
When you learned more from a YT Video than you did in school.
lol
FINALLY some helpful and realistic advice thank you ;)
Hey YesReneau could you please elaborate on what you meant about the 20/80 principle? I didn’t really understand what you meant to focus on during the study session with that tip.
You really sound like the character KC played by Zendaya in KC undercover!!
She is my idol!!!!! So are you, now..😉
I like the one “ you have 2 ears and 1 mouth you should be listening twice as much as you are talking”
I read the textbook for each of my classes and the textbooks for the year after that. That's how I've nailed every pop quiz. I also read the dictionary, thesaurus, and encyclopedias.
NEEDED THIS! I have to take a huge test that can “determine” my future and I really really need to ace it. Thanks for the tips and tricks. :D
