Good video! Ran into the same issue with mine. Ended getting a set of gorilla lugs.

Agree pure crap and if you're lucky to live anywhere that uses salt on the roads the metal cores will swell as they rust and make them near impossible to remove without peeling the stainless cap off them.
My Taurus manual says my lugs are M19s, when they swell I need an M21 socket, peel the cap off they're M18s underneath. So I carry all three socket sizes in my car just in case I get a flat.
Will be looking into getting some of those Dorman solid lugs, thanks!

That's horrible about the rust, and your comment about needing 3 lug nuts to get your wheels off is both funny and way too accurate. Thanks for the comment!

Never knew they were that bad. Thankfully mine came with some gorilla lugs. Lol.

Raptor is Garbage, Wait until the Hill Descent turns on in a Parking lot going over speed bumps and damn near throws you thru the windshield. Took mine into Ford and they have had Numerous Raptors with the Same Problem. BRAND NEW !

To be fair, that's happening with a lot of new vehicles, not just Ford and not just on the Raptor. It absolutely sucks and we agree its inexcusable. From what we can tell its related to supply issues/labor shortages/inflation all working together. We have a friend at Ford who told us that their quality control team used to kick anything that, let's make up a number for this example, less than an 85 score on how perfect the part should be. Now, due to supplier's dealing with labor shortages, skyrocketing costs and lack of labor, if Ford kicks everything under 85, they won't have enough parts to build all the vehicles they're trying to build to meet demand. So they're taking stuff that's as low as 40 so they can meet demand. Now apply that to every part that's coming in and to Ford's own assembly line as well and you can see how you'd have Hill Descent coming on in a parking lot and trying to kill you. We're NOT saying this is ok. And we wonder if Ford and the other manufacturers wouldn't be better served by refusing to compromise quality... but then you have a bunch of investors unhappy when the company doesn't hit any of its revenue goals. Personally, we're going to be hard pressed to buy anything that was manufactured after 2019 for a while. But then that has its own issues. Regardless, thanks for the comment!!

@@MotorsandMischief To be Fair of course blaming The Raptor is not quite fair. I Blame FORD Period.. Putting GARBAGE OUT will result in GARBAGE IN and I mean the Stock Ticker. In such a Volatile State the Economy is Ford, GM. Chrysler, Ram ,Jeep all need to stop putting out Overpriced Garbage that most Americans can not afford to purchase to begin with and Certainly do not have the time or patience to deal with the BS of Inferior Parts that will Plague the Vehicle over its Lifetime and After the Warranty Period is up. It is all Junk, Not worth the Money or the Headache. Hold onto your Vehicles Do Not Buy Anything New. It is Cheaper to replace the Engine, Transmission and Paint than Purchase a New Overpriced Computerized piece of Crap with a Shiny Paint Job.
