    I love doing leak down testing, it narrow down things for me

      Have you worked with in-cylinder pressure transducers at all? They have been great for gathering information, quicker than the leakage testing.

      @@AdamsAnalysis no I haven't. If possible can you guide me how to use it. I'm new to scoping and will have to purchase the accessories for that test. All I can do so far is relative test with the low probe.

    Will try the glove method. I use a ballon and the socket, tried the cranking way. Takes too long.

      The balloon is a great idea. I agree, bumping the starter is often a frustrating process.

    tie a balloon onto the hose and it inflates, if it deflates instantly, I suppose that means there is a bad leak.

    Put a rubberband..and balloon on hose air starts filling baloon..on compression stroke 👉👊

      Yeah I do this everytime to find the TDC
