Absolutely love your video reviews; you're so thorough and well spoken. How did you know I neeeeeeeed a (or two) hose disconnects, summer's a comin' after all. Being a Harriet Homeowner and 70+ y.o., I'm dependent on RUclips... and you. Thanks :)
Glad I could help! Its funny how things work out. I try to make my videos of products I own and feel are good. The flexzilla hose in my video are nice but they are kinda heavy with water in them. I did purchase an Expandable hose for my mom and she loves it. I was a little sceptical about it but It has been a good hose for 2 years and looks like it might last a couple more. see it on amazon amzn.to/3emv5tV
I have these on all my hoses and hose attachments and on my power washer etc it’s all just quick disconnects very fast and easy to use. Love them so much
Bought some home depot disconnects because I now live in a freeze area and need to keep a freeze cover over my outside hose bibs. They were crap! Lasted about a week before I took it off because the shut-off in the quick connect stayed mostly shut off even after I connected a hose. To be honest, they only lasted one use. The second time I tried to use it it failed, which was about a week after the first use. I ran across these Gorilla connectors and they look great. The "nipple" connects to the faucet, not the hose, which makes it much easier to disconnect them from the type of hose bib I have. Hopefully they work and last as well as you say they do.
Nice review, thanks.. One thing I don't like is putting that much weight at the end of my hose. It can chip car paint or break window glass.. With the purchase of one extra adapter, you can put the heavy female side of the connector at the hose bib, and the male side of the.connector on the hose side.
Good video and info. I too have several different kinds. I like having them on both ends, but want them to match. I also need them to be the same on both 50 foot hoses so I can do a quick connect if I need the longer hose. Usually get the cheaper style on HD or Lowes.
Just bought a Ninja Dualbrew Pro, and your video on that was what helped convince me, and later in the day bought hose quick disconnects, and then hunted for reviews to confirm that my gut choice was indeed correct. ...and here I am again. Never watched your videos before and randomly ended up watching two nearly back to back. What are the chances? Subscribed.
The quick disconnects are not hard to install. I put them on by hand but I just tightened them down a little more with a wrench, just to keep them on. If you put a rag around them it might be easier to tighten them down and get a good grip. I love these and they are worth getting. Let me know how it goes!!
No, not when I ordered it, I contacted from Gorilla web site and they were so helpful. It was weird ordering from a company web site since I order almost everything from Amazon, but they shipped the o-ring out right a way and it was cheap.
Hi there. Can I ask what the green connections on the hose are and who they are made by? They are the ones I always have problems with on my flexzilla. They pop over time.
I bought mine on Amazon. I purchase the lead free locking set. I noted that when their connected there is some play in the connection. Is this typical when there is no water pressure in the line? Unfortunately I can't test it now because is currently January and a balmy 20 degrees outside. Great video, thanks.
to bad its al made in china.. I've had some Eley quick connects still going strong 4 years later... I use pure silicone grease on them occasionally and I have a oring kit from harber freight for repairing o rings... other than that rock solid.

I don't buy from amazon. They are a garbage company. I ordered these direct from the manufacturer.

Just ordered a set. After one season I had to cut my hose and put a new end on it to get old nozzle off. Thanks for the review.
Why?
Clear as mud

I love mine and I have had them for years. also Gorilla will sell you just the o ring when It wears out after 3 years.

Can I use this Quick Connect on the “washer hose (not garden hose)”? Thank You
Yes, absolutely
How hard is the connector to be installed in the hose it self. I have 3/4 hoses will I be able to install the qd connect to my hose ?

Nice video! Do you have a quick connect on your gun/wand for your hose?
Yes I do!
Replacement o ring from Amazon?

@@JustADad thanks you
hi looks very well and just what am looking for great video, but what did you use to connect to your hose to be able to use it
No water will come out even if hose is not connected.

Do you mean the quick disconnects. amzn.to/3g7dhnw

1. Have you use the ones from Camco?
2. Are they better than Camco?
@@camryuser No I have not used the Camco

Yeah there is some play, but they don't leak and I love these!!!! you will love them also.
I wish the fittings were brass on the hose.
The o-rings are called o-rings. What he calls big o-rings and called gaskets. They are not o-rings.

These look like cheap coated aluminum instead of solid brass.
