LSE literally always gives the exact same reason so don't worry about the personal statement. My personal statement was super similar to my main essay for US universities. I got rejected from LSE but got into Columbia (shade)

Oxford/Cambridge/Imperial/UCL/Edinburgh/Manchester/KCL/LSE/Bristol/Warwick These are the top 10 (in order) according to QS But St. Andrews/ Durham/ Glasgow/ Nottingham are all VERY good and in the top 100 worldwide That’s the thing about the UK, most of their unis are incredibly good, but because of that some get overshadowed by others, despite them both being excellent

Any uni under university of London are all quite interconnected, my dream uni is kings and I’m hopefully starting in September, but I’m in group chats with lse, ucl students and you can use each others facilities, so it’s nice that whichever uni you’re at you’re all quite interconnected

Come on, King's is not prestigious. Oxbridge, LSE, Imperial, Warwick, UCL and St Andrews are the only prestigious unis in the UK.
