  • Form equals function. Everyone's body is different. Set goals, reach them. May your goals align with your functionality, and not simply be a form that you build (a senseless one at that).

    3 rules to form a good body:
    1. Train till you die
    2. Eat like a man, not like my little 3 years old sister
    3. Sleep like a baby

    • @MunichSpartanFitness

      There's only 1 rule to form a good Body: Just do It ! :)

    • @asfandyar219
      @asfandyar219 10 лет назад +7

      Dont train to the point where your technique is bad because thats when you will have an injury, but I like the 3 rules.

    • @rawkid30i
      @rawkid30i 10 лет назад

      Another very ignored rule is to check with a qualified chiropractor or physio to ensure there's no condition or muscle imbalances getting in your way....Don't know why people wait till they are injured in order to do this...

      Yes you're right.I just wanted to illustrate that you have to train hard, till a point it hurts bad, but not to a point where you have an injury, that's right^^

    Its odd.. People seem to realise this about having endomorphic and mesomorphic.bodies and tend not.to care that.I'm slightly.fatter then them yet I still see myself as unfit even though I am just endomorphic. I don't think I'll ever be satisfied until I completely lose aalmost all of my body fat, even though I seem to be the only one that notices or even cares. I guees it.acts as an extra motivator and puts another goal in for me to achieve and maintain. Thanks Paul your videos have helped so much over last year. Ive lost about 30-40 kgs of fat over last year and about 30kg total weight from 125 down to 95 putting on a-lot of muscle. Cheers again mate!! Eventuslly I want to be able to do free running and a bit if bars for strength too.
    Thanks once again from Aus :)

    I totally agree, I'm so obsessed with my form hence the reason why I'm able to progress quicker than others. It's so underestimated, each time I'm in the gym I'm always looking for ways that I can improve. Not only does it make the lift easier but you're more mentally prepared to execute the weight. If you're going to do something, why not do it properly? Also WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO IMPRESS. IF YOU FUCKING NEED TO DO BITCH WEIGHTS SO BE IT, BECAUSE THAT'S "TEMPORARY". Other things I can add is being consistent if you're serious about your gains, don't fucking bitch if you're sore. Man up and go fuck things up, even if it means you need to go lighter then usual. When visualising something always have that warrior mentality, don't look at something with self-doubt.

    • @Ryti1190
      @Ryti1190 10 лет назад

      What's the fucking point? You have the attention span of a goldfish. If you're too fucking lazy to pay attention to his previous videos and implement them into your current training what makes you think you're going to pay attention to another BS routine that he's already covered. I don't blame your massive man crush on Paul, but I'm assuming you're so infatuated and enamored by Paul that you're incapable of understanding his content. I bet you've already watched his previous videos, but failed to *pay attention*. Also, sets and reps can easily be found over the Internet. Search "best reps for building muscle and strength". But I'm sure you won't because your illiterate ass would rather be spoon fed by a rehash instead of reading.

    • @SNOOZlN
      @SNOOZlN 10 лет назад +1

      Ryan Timothy o.O... Do you need a chill pill? He was simply asking for sets and reps, and maybe he didn't watch his previous videos. Even if he did you shouldn't call him illiterate. You don't even know how old he is, he could be 12 for all you know, but i'm sure you wont agree with me and will probably just say more hateful words.

    I appreciate your videos, especially as someone who is really into learning how to use and manipulate the body to the fullest potential - but I have to point out that SOUL and SPIRIT are the same thing. I understand that you're trying to deliver your message about your religion, but when you say "Body Mind Soul Spirit" you are repeating yourself twice at the end. Its kind of like saying "Body/Flesh, Mind/Brain, Soul/Spirit. Just wanted to point that out. Rock on!

    Hey Paul I mean no disrespect but you say that wanting to build muscle mass is not an ideal goal. However, this being said I watched some of your videos on your Russian channel about your nutrition and you talk about eating between 3000-4000 calories for gaining muscle (unless I misunderstood because the translate captions don't work very well).But that amount of calories is considered bulking.
    Now considering your intentions I believe that you needed to "bulked up" so people would give you credit/respect and trust the information that you give out in order to help them in achieving their goals. Because honestly people wouldn't easily believe or trust someone healthy if they don't look the part.
    So I guess my point is that you shouldn't dismiss other peoples comments on the subject of muscle mass because there are good reasons to do so.

    • @TheF0rtress
      @TheF0rtress  10 лет назад +1

      I simply answered a question on gaining weight/bulking, it's simple science. Some people (especially those who are anorexic) need to build muscle/gain weight in order to be healthy, and I wanted to make sure they know it's all in the calories. Some people can be gaining weight for the right reasons :).

    I used to do a lot of cardio but now I do zero cardio. I used to do only bodyweight exercises (push ups pull ups used play a lot and did boxing for a few months and also basketball). I'm too skinny. Like 140lbs at 6'4". I think I'm healthy. I feel like that because I feel stronger than most of the guys in my class and guys around me. But I don't know if I'm really healthy. From last 5 months I quit doing cardio because I read that doing zero cardio would help me gain weight. Now I lift weights at gym and do zero cardio. I don't eat any junk food. Is it healthy to do that? Like no cardio and lifting weights at gym? I'm planning on taking whey protein powder. Is it ok to take supplements?

    • @edgaruriarte
      @edgaruriarte 10 лет назад

      I would suggest you NOT to take supplements at all, and dont drink proetin powder. All of the nutrients your body needs to be healthy and grow stronger is in the natural food we have. Not chemically organized and processed foods. Look at Pavels video on nutrition.

    • @sisirVEVO
      @sisirVEVO 10 лет назад

      Thx for the reply man. But you didn't answer the other part. Is it healthy to lift weights without doing any cardio? The problem is when I do cardio it becomes too difficult for me to gain weight. I can't eat the required calories a day while doing cardio. It's just impossible. I have college and stuff and don't get much time. My day starts with college, I come back, rest for an hour, go to gym and work out for like 1.5-2 hours and sleep.

    • @edgaruriarte
      @edgaruriarte 10 лет назад

      I think it is healthy to lift weights without doing cardio because you are still exercising. I would still suggest doing SOME cardio so you won't be looking all bulked up and looking massive without your muscles being defined and toned that you would get from doing cardio. Because you said "It becomes too difficult for me to gain weight. I can't eat the required calories a day while doing cardio." i'm assuming you are slim and need some mass. I highly recommend eating ALMONDS, they are very high on protein and are about 500 calories for 13-15 almonds. And the best of all, they are natural. I would also highly recommend SOY milk which is also organic and is free from all the hormones and puss that cow milk has. Sorry for the long comment :P

    • @sisirVEVO
      @sisirVEVO 10 лет назад

      Thx a lot for the reply man. Didn't know almonds had that many calories. Thx for that info. Can't drink cow milk because I'm lactose intolerant. I'll Google whether soy milk also cause lactose intolerance. Thx once again :)

      yes, lifting weight before reaching your max size (in terms of...."tallness") will, in most cases, help you not reach your full development...in most cases

      I was told by my basketball coach in high school that body weight exercises (calisthenics) will not stunt a young persons growth, whom are under 18 y/ o but lifting free weights will.

      Dereck Thomas It appears that while lifting in itself will not stunt your growth, obtaining a fracture to your growth plate as a result of lifting may actually do the trick:
      "An untreated growth plate fracture may stunt your growth."
      "Strong adolescents - who might have developed their strength through weight lifting - may suffer a growth-plate fracture"

      Not really "human" bodies though because it took plenty of PEDs to create those two bodies. Keep in mind I agree with you that those two are *the* examples for an aesthetic ideal. I don't condemn the use of steroids and other drugs to achieve such bodies but it's not for the average person and it's not "healthy" either. To reach contest shape bodybuilders wreak havoc on their health by dehydrating themselves severely.
