Love the color choices ! They make all the difference no matter what you are painting or drawing even when pouring resin. That’s probably what I love most about art is the colors and how they blend together .

I had to get past apologizing for using a lot of paint to people. I have come to realize it's just part of how my process works best. If you need extra for better composition then that's great because it sure beats repouring a painting later on. 😁

You should always have too much as it helps with final composition. It's the nature of pouring.
