Woodturning | a cherry bowl with turquoise milliput

I turn a small cherry bowl with a turquoise milliput inlaid rim. This is my first project with Milliput : Milliput is an epoxy putty. Though the putty is quite easy to work, I'm not happy with the result: the inlay is cloudy, dusty and way too mat. The cherry blank isn't top of the shelf either.
Je tourne un petit bol en merisier avec une bande de milliput turquoise incrustée dans le bord. C'est mon premier projet avec du milliput : le milliput est une pâte époxy. La pâte est plutôt facile à travailler, mais je ne suis pas satisfait du résultat, l'aspect est laiteux avec des poussières et reste bien trop mat. Le bois n'est pas de premier choix non plus.
