Hi, your 10th and 12th grades are impressive, which showcases your consistency in academic performance. While an 8.44 CGPA (77%) in graduation is slightly lower in comparison, it is still a decent score. During the interview process, IIMs typically consider a holistic profile evaluation. While your academic performance is a component, it's not the sole determining factor for selection. They also assess your work experience, extracurricular activities, communication skills, and overall fit with the institute. So, if you can showcase your strengths in these areas, your academic history should not significantly hamper your chances.

Hi Maruthi Sir, I have IIM Raipur offer and I am passed out in 2020 and working in IT. Last time was my first attempt got 91 percentile should I go for retake or take the current offer?
Congratulations on receiving an offer from IIM Raipur! It indicates that the institute recognizes your potential. Now, let's address your concerns regarding whether to retake the CAT exam or accept the current offer. Firstly, scoring 91 percentile in your first attempt is great; it demonstrates that you have the potential to perform well in the CAT exam. However, whether to retake the exam depends on a few factors: 1. Target Institutes: If IIM Raipur is your dream institute and aligns with your career goals, then accepting the current offer would be a wise choice. However, if you have other IIMs or top-tier institutes in mind where you'd like to secure admission, and you believe you can improve your percentile significantly, a retake might be worth considering. 2. Preparation Time: Assess the time you have available for CAT preparation. Remember, balancing work and preparation can be challenging. If you believe you can dedicate enough time and effort to substantially improve your score, a retake may be a viable option. Ultimately, the decision to retake the CAT exam or accept the current offer depends on your personal aspirations, the time you can commit to preparation, and your confidence in improving your percentile. It may be helpful to discuss your options with mentors, colleagues, or individuals who have experience in the field of management education to get different perspectives. I wish you the best of luck with your decision and future endeavours!

Hi, you have a strong profile. Your graduation score is slightly on the lower side. You have non engineer category and SC reservation which is a huge help in the in the application process. you will net nearly full points for work experience. You can target IIM ABC if you can easily score above 98 percentile. You will get most of the IIMs for even lesser percentile. hello Sir Currently I am in my first year of collage pursuing BBA I scoed 60% in 10th 70% in 12th general ctg can I get into IIM Lucknow ,Calutta,FMS or XLRI provided with a good cat/xat score?
I have a dream to get IIMA, but I worry they won't select me because of my low academic scores and being a general engineer male. My past scores were 63% in 10th and 7.5 in the diploma program. I'm currently in my first semester of engineering and plan to give CAT2026 exam at the end of this semester. However, I feel even if I do well in my degree program and CAT2026, I might not get a call from IIMA. Than i think out side of the box and make plan I know that according to UGC guidelines, I can pursue two degrees simultaneously from different universities. So, I will continue with my engineering degree and also take up another course, maybe something like BA in economics at open University, to add diversity to my profile. I'll aim to complete both graduation degrees at the same time and then appear for CAT2027 exam. I hope this path will increase my chances of getting selected at IIMA. So SIR it is the right way to get selection from IIMA ?
Hi, we recommend broaden vital your opportunities, target older IIMs and FMS Delhi. Those who place in the top ranks in CAT 99.99+ %ile often get a call from all top IIMs as long as they clear the basic eligibility criteria. So the student might be able to compensate for his bad acads with a high CAT %ile and Interview score.
Sir my average of 10th and 12th is 84 So can i say that, getting 99.2+ will guarantee me being in top 50 scorers from commerce background??? Im general male......
While a strong academic background can contribute to your overall profile, getting a 99.2+ percentile in CAT is not a guaranteed placement in the top 50 scorers. CAT scores are influenced by various factors, including performance on the exam day. Aim for the highest percentile possible and focus on an all-around strong application to enhance your chances.
Hi sir, I am GEF with 10 months of work ex in IT sector.. My acads are 92/71/8.84... Can i get old IIMs/xlri by scoring a good percentile with this profile?
Yes, you can get calls from some Old IIMs if you perform well in CAT. You can check here for the required percentile based on your profile: cracku.in/cat-percentile-required-for-iim-calls
Hi, Your academics are on the lower side. You have non-engineer category, which is a plus. considering you are a general category and male, you need to score 99.97+ for the top IIMs. You can target baby IIMs which get you calls at 99+ percentile. Now you can't change your academics, you can only change your work experience and your CAT score. You can even target some colleges, like FMS, MDI, which gives more weight to CAT score than the Academics. We suggest you check out other exams like SNAP, XAT , MAH CET, and CMAT, which have colleges that give more weight to the entrance exam score and less weight to academics. You can check the percentile required for all the b-schools at Cracku percentile predictor: cracku.in/cat-percentile-predictor. You can also google search "Cracku CAT Percentile Predictor."

Yes, You have a very good chance to get into IIM A. Your profile is very good, and if you target the 99.9 percentile, unless you mess up in the interview, you have a very good chance to convert into IIM A. All the best.
Actually 80% is not such a bad score. You will get 8 on your profile for your 12th which is actually good. And you can easily compensate it with good CAT Percentile. All the best.

Sir is 86% in class 10 and 83% in class 12 a safe percentage in order to get a call from top iims? I will join college very soon and i will try to maintain good Cgpa.
Its very good you are targeting MBA even before joining college. You have 4 whole years for practice, which is ample time for your preparation. Your 10 and 12th are very good. We suggest you maintain a CGPA above 8+ and even 9+ which gets you full points in your graduation score. Try to have a small amount of daily consistent practice, it will compound at the time of your graduation and get you a high percentile. If you have a chance we also suggest you to do some internships or extracurricular activities which can be your strong points in the interview process. It will be slightly difficult but they will help with your long term goals. All the best.
Hi, there's no fixed percentage requirement for different categories at IIMs. Selection criteria consider various factors including CAT score, academic performance, work ec, diversity factors, and PI performance. However, typically for top IIMs like ABCKLI, a strong CAT score along with a decent academic record is essential for consideration, regardless of category. You can check out the CAT percentile predictor for IIM calls here: cracku.in/cat-percentile-required-for-iim-calls
Sir my profile - 10th 59%, 12th 56%, under graduation 60% and 1 year gap. What percentile should I aim to get Iim trichy, vishakapatnam, jammu and Amritsar.
Hi, Your profile is ok (Not good/not bad). We suggest you to continue with your job and simultaneously prepare for CAT exam. You need to get anywhere near 99.9+ percentile for calls from top b-schools. You can check your percentile predictor with further details. You can check percentile required for all the b-schools at Cracku percentile predictor: cracku.in/cat-percentile-predictor Link is in our bio! you can also google search "Cracku CAT Percentile Predictor"
Yes, you can get into IIMs. But you need to score very high percentile in the CAT exam for the top IIMs. Considering your 10 and 12th marks are slightly on the lower side. and since you are a General engineering male you need to score 99.95+ to get calls from the top IIMs. We suggest you try to improve your work experience. If you have atleast some years of work experience then you will have good chances to perform well in the interview after you get the calls. These years also, if you continuously prepare for the CAT exam, you will get a good percentile by the end. Of course if you get a higher percentile even earlier, that is also good. You can try some top IITs and other top B schools which give high weightage for CAT score. Don't be discouraged. Prepare well and work hard. All the best.
Unfortunately, FMS need 50 % marks for 12th standard in its eligibility criteria. There are many other top B schools, like XLRI, JBIMS, ISB, etc., that don't have a minimum cutoff for their MBA programs. You can consider them for your MBA studies. All the best.
Hi, For all candidates in the first shortlist, the top 10 candidates in each of the following : total score in CAT, adjusted Bachelors’score (commerce, arts, and science disciplines), and Professional (CA/ ICWA / CS), from the first shortlist, as created using the selection criteria automatically qualify for PI. These candidates are given a chance to appear for PI due to their exceptional performance in these categories. However, at the end of Phase 2, all such candidates must meritselection based on the composite aggregate score, like any other candidate. You can also check out the IIM bangalore admisssion criteria here: cracku.in/blog/iim-bangalore-admission-criteria-2023/
Hi, Most institutes have their own way of computing the composite scores based on the stream. For instance, at IIM-A, a BSc candidate would be grouped with others with degrees belonging to the science stream. The applicant pool, as far as I know, is mainly divided into around 6 groups based on the graduation stream - AC 1 to 6.
Yes, you can prepare for the CAT. While your academic scores are below average, CAT scores and other factors like diversity, work experience, and performance in interviews also play a crucial role in admissions. Focus on scoring high in CAT and improving your overall profile. You can check here for CAT percentile required for IIM calls here: cracku.in/cat-percentile-predictor
Hi, you can aim for IIM Shillong and New IIMs. It is also advised that you take other MBA exams such as XAT, IIFT, etc. You can check the required CAT percentile based on your profile here: cracku.in/cat-percentile-required-for-iim-calls
Hi! Even if you have a lower academic record in your 10th or 12th grades, you can still receive a call from IIM Calcutta. However, this is only possible if you achieve a percentile above 99.99 in the CAT exam and attain a decent score in your undergraduate studies.

You can check percentile required for all the b-schools at Cracku percentile predictor: cracku.in/cat-percentile-predictor Link is in our bio!

Hi,
You can definitely new and baby IIM with this profile. You will definitely get calls if you safely score 95+ or above. Get higher percentile for more chances.

hello Sir
Currently I am in my first year of collage pursuing BBA I scoed 60% in 10th 70% in 12th general ctg can I get into IIM Lucknow ,Calutta,FMS or XLRI provided with a good cat/xat score?
Hi, please check here for percentile required for iim calls here: cracku.in/cat-percentile-required-for-iim-calls
I have a dream to get IIMA,
but I worry they won't select me because of my low academic scores and being a general engineer male. My past scores were 63% in 10th and 7.5 in the diploma program. I'm currently in my first semester of engineering and plan to give CAT2026 exam at the end of this semester.
However, I feel even if I do well in my degree program and CAT2026, I might not get a call from IIMA.
Than i think out side of the box and make plan
I know that according to UGC guidelines, I can pursue two degrees simultaneously from different universities.
So SIR
it is the right way to get selection from IIMA ?
Hi, we recommend broaden vital your opportunities, target older IIMs and FMS Delhi.
Those who place in the top ranks in CAT 99.99+ %ile often get a call from all top IIMs as long as they clear the basic eligibility criteria.
So the student might be able to compensate for his bad acads with a high CAT %ile and Interview score.
Sir my average of 10th and 12th is 84
So can i say that, getting 99.2+ will guarantee me being in top 50 scorers from commerce background???
Im general male......
While a strong academic background can contribute to your overall profile, getting a 99.2+ percentile in CAT is not a guaranteed placement in the top 50 scorers. CAT scores are influenced by various factors, including performance on the exam day. Aim for the highest percentile possible and focus on an all-around strong application to enhance your chances.
@@CrackuInexam thank you sir

Which college to target please tell😢😢😢😢😢
Do I stand a chance for IIMA given my 12th Score? I am aiming for 99.9%ile in CAT
Yes, You have a very good chance to get into IIM A. Your profile is very good, and if you target the 99.9 percentile, unless you mess up in the interview, you have a very good chance to convert into IIM A. All the best.
@@CrackuInexam but sir wouldn't my XII dent my chance? Or I can compensate with Academic diversity and CAT score?
Actually 80% is not such a bad score. You will get 8 on your profile for your 12th which is actually good. And you can easily compensate it with good CAT Percentile. All the best.
@@CrackuInexam thank you sir.. However at 80% IIMA is giving 5/10.. But I Would try to aim for 99.96%ile

A profile of 8/8/7 non engineer profile is decent for New and Baby IIMs
Hi, please check in the percentile predictor here: cracku.in/percentile-predictor
How much percentage will be required for female,ews,non-engineer,fresher with 90/77/78 in 10/12/G to get calls from IIM ABCKLI?
Hi, there's no fixed percentage requirement for different categories at IIMs. Selection criteria consider various factors including CAT score, academic performance, work ec, diversity factors, and PI performance. However, typically for top IIMs like ABCKLI, a strong CAT score along with a decent academic record is essential for consideration, regardless of category.

You need to get anywhere near 99.9+ percentile for calls from top b-schools. You can check your percentile predictor with further details. You can check percentile required for all the b-schools at Cracku percentile predictor: cracku.in/cat-percentile-predictor Link is in our bio!

General male engineer
Sir, is there any chance
0 work experience

Hello sir my class 10 marks are 99.9%,My class 12 marks are 49% so am i eligible for FMS DELHI please reply sir?
Unfortunately, FMS need 50 % marks for 12th standard in its eligibility criteria. There are many other top B schools, like XLRI, JBIMS, ISB, etc., that don't have a minimum cutoff for their MBA programs. You can consider them for your MBA studies.
All the best.

Sir can you confirm the special criteria for IIM Bangalore for the top 10 students... Thankyou

Sir i am doing BSc Life Sciences will i be put along with engineering students ? Because it falls into science.
