This is the question that more than 70% of CAT appearing students have in their minds.
In fact I am pretty sure this question has at least crossed your mind once while preparing for CAT!
Most of the students have been average in their school and college life, with little to no participation in clubs and committees, no CV pointers, and a weak profile.
And thus, when they get to know that all of these are given importance in IIM selections, they panic!
Well, I panicked too as I have been the exact same, with literally 0 CV pointers before my IIM interviews.
But you don’t need to worry, as maine vo problem face kri h and successfully use paar bhi kra h, so here are a few things which you can learn from my experience and implement in your preparation!

Bhai in most cases, atleast in my experience, a certificate works. Maine khud try kra tha as explained in the video and it wasn’t checked as thoroughly, so yes I’m pretty sure mild lies do work.

Profile koi bht khrab nhi h, graduation ka score maintain rkhna and try to aim for as much percentile as you can, ek number pe fixate mt ho and try to get the best out of your capabilities. You're on the right path if MBA is your decision, all the best! Also, best 5 subjects ka score nhi dekhte h generally, overall score hi consider hota h.

I want to ask for example if I get 80-90 percentile in CAT exams and I am in general caste so is there any scope then also to end up being in good college and get good placements job because no one is talking about this everyone is telling about IIM and etc colleges only.

Hi Adarsh! Your profile is good, much better than an average students due to so many CV pointers plus your degree is also different, hence yes you will be getting diversity points as well. You can target any top college you want, top5-10 college me maybe problem aaye due to low 12th score but baki colleges me hone ke strong chances h. So don't worry, focus on getting a good CAT score. 2023 ke first 6 months i did a job, i have appointment letter and offer letter but no experience letter provided by the company (ik this won't be counted as experience but if the interviewer asks me what i was doing in 2023 as it will be a gap year).
After that i started self preparing for cat, I wasn't confident enough to go for the exam so i dropped it and start my preparation again this year along with some coaching and I'm also pursuing some certification courses
For the co curriculum I am a kathak dancer since i was 10 years old, artist, reader, chess player, I've participated in the cultural programmes of schools and colleges though i don't have a certificate to show it.

Aim for as much percentile as you can, sometimes 99 percentile pe bhi call nhi aata and kbhi kbhi 80 pe bhi aajata h, so there is no fixed percentile for a call.
Sir I worked as an Equity Dealer on a stipend basis of ₹7k per month. I was doing CA along with it but couldn't clear!Can I show it as a Work Ex? NOTE : ₹7k were directly transferred to my bank a/c .
Yep you can, you’ll be needing few documents to prove it though, like salary slips or a joining/relieving/experience letter
