    Can you put the reservoir ABOVE the tanks by chance? I have a cabinet above my tank but no floor space beneath... I imagine above wouldn’t work as it might create a siphon?

    • @AquaSplendor
      @AquaSplendor  4 года назад +3

      The syphon break with the little plastic I shown twice in the video, shouldn't be a problem. But if you have the luxurious of having your freshwater above, perhaps look for gravity feed system, more simple and reliable.

  • @fireguychris100

    the coupling goes at the tank to stop a siphon. not at the bottom.

      You are talking about the little plastic with a hole? That need to be in contact with air to break the siphon. Otherwise that feature becomes useless.

    Great! I have same ATO! Had it hooked up to my nano for about two weeks and then realized that I had nearly zero evaporation thanks to my lid. It’s been in the box ever since. Ha!

    Both pump and eye/water level sensor went a little over one year of owning. Not impressed. $20 replacement pump cost and $50 eye/water lvl sensor replacement I’m now $190 into this ato. Wishing I’d of just coughed up the extra money and got the Tunze Osmolator.
