You play really well, nice finger work.
But the Sterling doesn't have a good sound, somehow. Is a Stingray musicman sub 4, right?
I have a Sub 5 for Evanescence etc, but I converted it, different pickups, different strings, different bridge. Now it sounds right.
Otherwise I recommend Fender, a Jazz for this sound.
Or if you're on a tight budget, a Squier built by Fender.
