Best Car Sounds of 2017 - Classic Car Edition

- As a yearly tradition on this channel we make a "Best of" at the end of the year which features the very best clips we filmed during the latest year. Of course now it's 2017's turn and my lord did we, once again, film many stunning cars that we had never seen before! We had a fantastic year, breaking new grounds for the channel once again and we hope to continue that trend in 2018!
Special thanks to Goodwood for having us over once again this year, going there is always a fantastic journey. Being invited for the Revival Racing Experience was, for me, a whole new level of driving a classic car. It was definetely one of the coolest things I've ever done in my entire life and can still not believe that I was actually invited to be there together with only very few others.
Also special thanks to Peter Auto for granting us entrance to lots of their events. It's always a blast to see their racing series in action and I'm already on the tip of my toes to go to next year's Le Mans Classic! And as usual, I'll be taking you guys with me!
Thanks for joining us in 2017, we truly hope you'll be doing that again in 2018 because it'll EPIC!

The only "song" that i missed on the whole video was 917k at full chat.. awsome work i'm jealous that i can't be there with you to enjoy the best kind of history class that wasn't covered in school. Loooove the sound of those swishing tires under serious load. I feel bad for the people that think f1 and 24 hour races now adays are the best. Give me 1955 to 1985 the best 30 years of piston power that was ever available to man. We may be less than a microbe to Jesus but i bet he smiles when these monsters go by, after all he gave us fossil fuel. Peace to all and enjoy while we can. Classics all the way.

It’s sobering to think that just about all of the wonderful machines featured here have been beaten in time up the Goodwood Hill by the German Diesel Scandal Cheater’s Vacuum Cleaner!
Go to a video called v8 soundcheck of le mans and it shows you the american nascars that raced and a monza but ahhhh its heaven
One day there may be a best electric car sounds video but they will never sound as good to me as small (5 litres and less) displacement flat plane crank V8, V10, V12, V16 (the H16 BRM when it would start) or flat and air cooled versions of all.

Guys, between the 76MM and Le Mans Classic next year, which do you think would be better if you could only select one of the events. I have quite a busy schedule for 2018 so can only really make time for one event. Thank you.
I think the Spa Classic is always a solid option! The Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or is also great because there's a lot less people but the cars are almost the same as at Spa, although Spa is just an epic place in general to be at! Considering lots of things, I think I'd go with the Spa Classic as an in betweener!
HistoricRacingHD thanks for the reply. I had a look at the those two events, however the dates aren’t very feasible for me unfortunately. The only two I could potentially make it to would be the 76MM or the Le Mans Classic and even then I would only be able to go to one of them.
FoS or LMC would be a very tough choice though. In terms of cars, FoS is simply unbelievable. In terms of atmosphere, both of them are top notch! FoS really is a festival, but LMC is simply amazing because every single town around the circuit is embedded in classic cars, so it's just a trip back to the 60s for the entire weekend until you come home. Both are extremely fun, but the fact that they're right behind each other in 2018 does make it quite difficult for many to attend both.
HistoricRacingHD I’d say I’m leaning more towards Le Mans Classic since I went to the Members Meeting this year and LMC is biannual so I wouldn’t want to miss it.
Very true, can't blame you for that one. I wouldn't ever want to miss LMC. I don't know why, but it's just an amazing setting for an epic event. The atmosphere is incredible!

What events are you guys going to next year?
Definetely 76MM at Goodwood, Spa Classic, Le Mans Classic, Festival of Speed, probably Goodwood revival, and then some others but we'll have to look into that! Like the Spa 6 Hours, AVD Oldtimer GP, etc.
It would be great if you could make a video about what a events you guy will be going to in 2018?
HistoricRacingHD really looking forward to the 76MM, went to the 75MM this year and enjoyed every minute of it. Group 5 cars (e.g. Porsche 935s) and Formula 5000 should be performing the high speed demos this time around.
