    0:45 The 63 (and a half) Galaxie is one of my favorite cars and red is my favorite color! And the sound of that cam is to die for!

    That 63 1/2 Galaxie is a sweet ride, couldn't tell by the fender badge if it was a 390, 406, or 427. I love those cars, one day I will own one.

    #1: God bless those men racing the early 1900's Racecars. History preservation at it's finest. That shit will only get more awesome as time passes.
    #2: 10:46 When I think of good hill climb vehicles, 240mph Group C Prototype is not my first thought.

    Theres nothing like an open cockpit in the rain lol Makes it so much harder with everything slippery like the steering wheel shifter and pedals

    Love the 125 km/h in a 30 km/h zone. Certainly some varied conditions there, and perhaps the most varied lineup of cars I've ever seen in one event!

      It was funny to see that the speed indicator works for >99 km/h.
      Weather changed permanently from clouds to rain to sun and again to rain.
      The variety of cars is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit. ;)

      42EForest yea but their games are suppose to be realistic, they nailed the hellcat and GT350R in motorsport 6 but killed the gt350r in horizon 3

    I think I've seen a video from this event where it was an early 70's Nascar, if anyone spots it can you time stamp it or link it. Seems like it was this event, I remember it was powersliding through a walled S turn in the rain.

      @@42EForest Thanks for filming and editing this, i actually think it was a different event, probably different uploader.. It was a very high stone S turn, walls on both sides in a village, huge crowd, I think it was Dodge Daytona or Charger with the wing. I watched alot of this before and did not find it unfortunately.

      It is called 'La France Typ 12'. This car was build in 1917 and has a 14500cc engine.

      Already got a 500hp torque monster built for the strip. Avanti II. Ugly as hell and scary to drive, but you learn how to love them :) Plan was to sell the Avanti and a 69 roadrunner after restoration to purchase a austin healey 100. That leaves me with a classic for cruising and a 68 charger for showing of :)

    Anyone who says the best sounding, auto motors are NOT throaty V8's does not have properly functioning testicles and/or very many male chromosomes, IMO.
    BTW - I think ALL the cars sounded great.

      For sure, but if you are a deep petrolhead, the sound of a big block reminds thunder stiking on your head... I agree about lot's of car's sound great, like the roaring TR5 or the meowing V6 of the GTV, but some 8 cylinders will be always a special thing to hear, even they seem to be lame or firing in desorder !

      It is german. In this part of Switzerland they mostly speak german. 0:28 means something like "We VOLUNTARILY drive 30 kph in Arosa".

      Audi is one of the sponsors of Arosa ClassicCar. Therefore they present a few of their cars and spectators can have a ride with professional or famous drivers. In recent years they brought a Sport Quattro piloted by Harald Demuth which fits a bit better in ClassicCars. ;)

      @@lukethedrifter3363 If I'm not a frenzied blue oval fan, I agree that Ford had some very freaking engines, and still...But those others brands as GM, Mopar for the US were good too, so Porsche, Alfa or BMW in Europe know better how to optimize an engine. And I don't talk about Honda or Toyota...
      But for sure I've got a special leaning for a big 7 liter in a Galaxy or a Fairlane, very tasteful ! Even in a Cobra is a special thing to try one time in your life !!
