It was funny to see that the speed indicator works for >99 km/h. Weather changed permanently from clouds to rain to sun and again to rain. The variety of cars is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit. ;)
Yes cars doing what they were meant to do I love it I wish they would do this at southernthere was a lot of roads they could do it on just need some sponsors
I think I've seen a video from this event where it was an early 70's Nascar, if anyone spots it can you time stamp it or link it. Seems like it was this event, I remember it was powersliding through a walled S turn in the rain.
@@42EForest Thanks for filming and editing this, i actually think it was a different event, probably different uploader.. It was a very high stone S turn, walls on both sides in a village, huge crowd, I think it was Dodge Daytona or Charger with the wing. I watched alot of this before and did not find it unfortunately.
Already got a 500hp torque monster built for the strip. Avanti II. Ugly as hell and scary to drive, but you learn how to love them :) Plan was to sell the Avanti and a 69 roadrunner after restoration to purchase a austin healey 100. That leaves me with a classic for cruising and a 68 charger for showing of :)
Anyone who says the best sounding, auto motors are NOT throaty V8's does not have properly functioning testicles and/or very many male chromosomes, IMO. BTW - I think ALL the cars sounded great. Thank you very much for posting this.
For sure, but if you are a deep petrolhead, the sound of a big block reminds thunder stiking on your head... I agree about lot's of car's sound great, like the roaring TR5 or the meowing V6 of the GTV, but some 8 cylinders will be always a special thing to hear, even they seem to be lame or firing in desorder !
Listen to this mercedes v8. For me its a tie between that V8, the Audi Quattro 5 Cylinder hill climb/rally cars, and the Mazda 787B 4 Rotor. ruclips.net/video/am68lQsoNaI/видео.html

FORD GALAXIE..........
So much better when there's no commentary to ruin the glorious sound
Yes, you're absolutely right!
That 63 1/2 Galaxie is a sweet ride, couldn't tell by the fender badge if it was a 390, 406, or 427. I love those cars, one day I will own one.
I had a 69 Galaxie 500 GT390 it was a awesome car..
Probably 427 sounds wicked
The race cars are normally 427 side oiler.

Music to my ears! Thank you (how did you keep the sound so consistent & PERFECT across all the clips - aMaZiNg)
Thank you for your lovely comment! ;) Using an external microphone could be one reason, but all of these cars just sound truely amazing!
Theres nothing like an open cockpit in the rain lol Makes it so much harder with everything slippery like the steering wheel shifter and pedals
Love the 125 km/h in a 30 km/h zone. Certainly some varied conditions there, and perhaps the most varied lineup of cars I've ever seen in one event!

great video
Thank you! :)
If only forza could make the cars sound as good in their games as they do in real life, also they need to bring back the de tomaso pantera
That would be great. But Forza Cars sound already great, compared to other games.
42EForest yea but their games are suppose to be realistic, they nailed the hellcat and GT350R in motorsport 6 but killed the gt350r in horizon 3
That is true. There is still a long way to go ...
42EForest yea I guess but they're suppose to record the engines then copy them in digital form, that's what they bragged about so much
mhh, yeah I hope they improve it in this way
How fun it would be to drive those cars in, well, not exactly anger, but in a state of PIQUE, lol.
good job
