    I was putting the Great value heavy whipping cream in my coffee every morning. I ended up at the hospital with high blood pressure and chest pain. They prescribed me medication to thin my blood. I started reading labels and when I looked up the carrageenan I stopped using the whipping cream, and all my chest pain and blood pressure went normal. I'm not taking medication now. Thankful for this yt channel getting the word out.❤

    My husband’s dr. Called me in 1975 and said he (husband) had high triglycerides. Had no idea what he was talking about. I had no issue with the doc calling me since I was the homemaker and cook (very happy housewife). He told me to READ LABELS and gave me a little booklet with a list of low fat and no fat foods to which I strictly adhered and with exercise, my 30 year old Adonis was back to his fighting weight and low triglycerides within three months. Not easy - didn’t bake a lot of pecan pies or buy mush ice cream, but it worked. I still eat that way and am healthy at 76. He’s still healthy at 79. Moderation seems to be the key, I think. Moderation, meditation, doable exercise (especially walking, squats, lunges, deep breathing, good sleep, regular trips to dentist, doctor, mammogram, dexascan, etc.). Good genes certainly help. Thanks for all your suggestions. My excellent doctor warned me about carrageenan 10 years ago!

    I recently changed my diet to a lower carb cleaner foods , and I started to reading labels. What I do basically is avoid packed food altogether and get the most natural and wholesome products possible. If I have to buy something that has been processed, I immediately put it down if it has more than two lines of ingredients. I usually find a cleaner substitute, but I am ready to eliminate it if replacement not found. I was diagnosed with OP in 2021, and so far I am doing well without medications. I know of certain ingredients and food additives that can hurt you nutrition and health Thanks for the information provided.

    • @beexsmith1
      @beexsmith1 9 месяцев назад +5

      Set rinsed raw organic chicken into Pressure Cooker. Cover entire chicken with organic veg and/or chicken broth; add fresh (diced/seeded) organic Meyer lemon; 1/4 cup fresh crushed leaves of organic lemon thyme; 1 tsp freshly crushed black pepper corns; 1 whole white sliced medium onion (or five stalks chop green onions for Miso taste); 1/2 tsp Celtic salt (best brand: '82 Minerals'). Set on stove on medium pressure cooker for 4 hours. After cooking time bones of chicken should 'fall apart' - if not add more liquid, reseal pressure cooker, and cook for additional time (2 hours more?) This is not only a bone broth but a bone stew that supplies the bone minerals and vitamins. Remember to discard the knuckles at the end of the bone's grissel as they will not dissolve in pressure cooker. Seal and freeze in glass jars for 3 months. Bon Apètite

      Bone broth is problematic for some people and healing for others. But you don't even have to get fancy with it. Pure distilled water over bones/meat, and you can add a dash of organic vinegar, organic/biodynamic wine, lemon juice… Some acid that helps call nutrients out of the bones. Skim off any physical debris that floats to the top. Done. You can add vegetables as you like, if you don't mind plant toxins.

Strain and I put them in 1 quart bags. Let it cool and then freeze have one every day, there’s no better broth we are carnivore so the bones from our steaks and our lamb. Also save all of your egg shells. They are loaded with natural calcium rinsed them and put them in the fridge. Throw them in with your soup broth. Let it boil, strain everything. Yep that’s it.

      They are not unavoidable. I just looked in my fridge, and I didn't find any items that have the ingredients she mentioned. But you HAVE to read labels. For ex: cottage cheese. The store brand where I shop has both guar gum AND carragenen in it, along with preservatives and a bunch of other crap. I read the labels of every brand I could find and one brand, Daisy, has milk cream and salt. My rule of thumb - If I look at a label and there are more than 4 or 5 ingredients, it's probably a no-go for me.

    • @bitrudder3792
      @bitrudder3792 9 месяцев назад

      there doesn't seem to be any general agreement on that question about stock versus broth. The usual question to ask for health purposes is whether or not it was made from bones or flesh or both. And I've seen the terms used interchangeably for that. Sometimes people distinguish between whether bones are roasted as to whether the resulting liquid is called stock or broth. So no matter what the dictionary says, just ask the company what the heck they're doing.

Lower blender over egg and start on low. As the egg and oil blend, lift blender a bit and grab the rest of the oil by tipping and turning jar. Takes less than a minute. Olive oil is strong, but so much more healthy than commercial products! No preservatives, so must be used in a timely manner.

      Hi @aemami7698 Dietary cholesterol typically doesn't have a huge impact on blood cholesterol levels, those are from what's produced in your liver and intestines (only about 20% comes from your food). If your cholesterol levels are high I would encourage you to work with a holistic nutrition professional to create a protocol to help you lower your cholesterol.

    • @bitrudder3792
      @bitrudder3792 9 месяцев назад +5

      I highly recommend that you read "the cholesterol Hoax." The lower your cholesterol, the more likely you are to die from any cause. The higher your cholesterol, the more likely you are to live longer and healthier. Cholesterol is the building block for all of our hormones, and repairs cell walls. if your cholesterol is high it may mean that you have recently been eating cholesterol rich foods and it may go down shortly after the lab test is done for all you know. It may also signal that your body has a lot of repair work to do. When statin drugs were discovered, the normal range for cholesterol was lowered which was a really good marketing campaign. Monitoring and prescribing statin drugs is a cash cow for the medical and pharmaceutical companies. It has no effect on whether or not people get heart attacks, etc. healthy fat is healthy, especially in the context of a healthy diet which doesn't necessarily mean what we were taught. There's a whole political game that resulted in the statin industry. Same with some other medication. Keep studying, keep learning, and study your own specific situation… If you are fortunate you might find a natural - oriented practitioner, MD or otherwise, who can advise you as to which is better for you among the different choices. Bottom line, we were told the absolutely wrong thing about consuming fat. Basically, the food pyramid should be upside down from what we were told. Give or take a few adjustments.
