Exactly!! Sometimes it seems like they bring stupid choices on purpose. It would have been so much nicer to watch this bride try on three gorgeous poofy dresses.

@@jenn4593 the ultimate poofy dress is a ballgown not a mermaid. A mermaid is sleek and fitted with only a small portion of slight poof all the way on the bottom.
Sometimes consultants will put brides in exactly what they didn't ask for because oftentimes brides are thinking of one type of something that falls into that catagory, and when they get put into what they thought they didn't want, but in a different style, fabric or design, they realize they don't in fact hate it. But if you put her in a mermaid, and she ends up loving it, not realizing she could look that fabulous, she may end up in a dress that she never knew she could love.
They also do it sometimes because when they put you in the one you want - it makes more of an impact when you get the LOOK you were looking for sometimes. I've watched so much SYTD that I've heard them say both of these techniques - and it depends on the bride on why they do it.
That first one is a crime
That first dress looks like one of those wrap towels with straps and velcro holding it together that you put on after a shower
Must confess that I was surprised that 1. Jackal had picked a dress (and closer to what his bride wanted than the one the saleswoman found) and 2. His description of the final dress as "stunning." That'll teach me to not make assumptions about people
Just my thoughts. He may not look like someone special at the first glance, but he is. Just watch his eyes when he looks at Paradise in her dress! These two might end up very happy, I think. (And her figure... wow!)
The consultants will purposefully put you in the "wrong" dress for one of two reasons - to make sure you for sure know that that particuar style you are asking for is what you want, especially if you haven't tried on the "wrong" style before - or it's to make more of an impact when they put you in the dress they know you prefer.
The second couple is adorable! I love her in her dress!
Chato is so pretty, but if she's going to be an adult, she's got to get beyond that high school, cheerleader "clexy" jargon. It's juvenile.

I'm sorry, but the first bride's first dress looked like a pillowcase. The dress she chose was very pretty. The second bride's pick was too poofy for my taste, but the bodice was pretty and she looked good in it.

The fact that Jackal beamed every time Paradise came out was so sweet. Most of the grooms on here are so judgmental, it was nice to see one who just thought his girl was beautiful no matter what she was wearing.

We’re from the cheer world and I’ve never heard anyone use those silly words except for Bring it On & we have a friend who was in Bring it On on Broadway. Let’s hope they don’t speak that way in real life which I’m sure they don’t 😂😂 The bride is gorgeous however ! ❤

I loved the second dress. Different but classy.
It makes me laugh all these brides wanting "sexy" dresses. Especially in the Kleinfeld's episodes. They all seem to think it means lacking material and having everything on display.
Of course, we all want our husbands to think we look beautiful, sexy, etc on our wedding dress but to me, being sexy is about how you carry yourself, how you feel and conduct yourself, and if your husband to be loves you, I'm sure that on the special day he will look at you and just think you look amazing, sexy, beautiful, all those things.
When I went wedding dress shopping I came away with dresses I never imagined I could wear and I said to the consultant "I just want something that makes me feel beautiful because I have never felt beautiful in my life". And when I tried my dresses on and was beaming smiling I knew that as long as I felt beautiful, my fiancé would be happy and find me beautiful, attractive, sexy etc.
