Very nice #CookingTree. #Tiramisu reinvented. I wonder how it would be with a chocolate whipped cream topping? I've never understood the cocoa powder on top. It is just bitter. Even covering the top with chocolate curls would probably taste better. Thank you for the inspiration and refreshment of a tired old recipe.

There's supposed to be mascarpone and Amaretto in a tiramisu as well, so if you want to use Biscoff cookies and call it a speculoos cheesecake, why not. Biscoff is a sweeter cookie than a ladyfinger though, so you might want to cut back a little on the sugar.

there’s supposed to be ladyfingers in tiramisu so it wouldn’t be tiramisu if you changed to another kind of biscuit
