Hello Mark. Not a rider that can't be throwed , or a horse that can't be rode 🤷 ! Another great video , thanks for taking us along 😀 ! Be careful out there .
WOW!! Dumped the bike and life goes on.. I'm to old to be trying that.. My azz and back would have been killing me after that. Cheers for that safety equipment and not getting hurt..
I was fortunate enough not to be going that fast. The sand made me loose control and over I went. LOL I try to wear safety gear, especially when I'm out there by myself. I loved that area to explore and check the area out. Beautiful country!
Awesome content and drone footage. As a retired law enforcement officer, about 13 years of that was as a motorcycle officer. We had a saying, “There’s only two kinds of motor jockeys. Those that have been down and those that are going.” That KLR 650 is about as close to bullet proof as you can get. Stay safe and keep the videos coming!
Solid KLR pick up technique there. I’ve always thought that knobby off road tires make you look like a better rider whereas street biased tires will force you to actually be a better rider off road. Yours definitely appear to be more street biased so well done
@@ryanb5189 Thanks! I do 90% hwy riding and 10% off road. I got rid of the knobby tires and went with a 80/20 tire. The knobby tires lasted about 3k miles, my current tires last a little over 6,000 miles. I like them. The dirt nap my moto took was all my fault. I picked a bad line to follow. LOL
Wow Mark, another great camp site! and you got a nice shade tree too. I usually watch on a 60inch tv when Im home and its amazing seeing the sights you show us! good thing you were going slow when you had the wipeout on your bike, that sand is treacherous for bikes. Loved those arches, thanks for another fine video!
Thanks! I put lots of hours into each video, when I start to feel like I'm burning out, I stop for a while to get recharged. I don't like stressing over upload deadlines. I just go with the flow. LOL Much appreciate you watching!
Hi Mark great video - I tip my bikes over from time to time - low speed, sand, etc. Watch out for "harmless" tip overs and trail rocks wearing track shoes - the sharp parts of the frame of a 450lbs bike can bite the ankle bones and them rocks are hard.
I try to be very careful, but accidents do happen. I do have an iPhone with SOS on it, also an apple watch ultra, it'll contact law enforcement automatically when needed.
@DispersedCamperMan Thanks man. Im ex Vietnam Veteran USAF. Enjoy your videos. Im the same in avoiding people and noise. I think maybe a lot of vets have the same thoughts on camping out there..

Another awesome site, Mark. “Lesson learned,” the most uttered phrase of a true boondocker. 😂
You got that right! LOL

“When I’m doubt gas it out” that’s how I was taught to ride sand. Great video 👍
Right on
Yeah the sand will definitely get ya. Nice spot but the heat 😮 that’s a bit too hot for me. I definitely see why it’s busy in cooler weather 👍🏼
I definitely wouldn't be out there without my A/C going full blast in that heat.

Sounds about right. If you haven't dropped your motorcycle at least once, are you really riding it right? LOL Thanks for watching Doug!
Nice soft spot of sand to take a nap. Sometimes it just happens. Take care of yourself Mark.
Thanks 👍Sand is the choice material to take a dirt nap in if necessary. LOL
That is one nice spot!! Liked those arches as well. Take care!👍
Thanks 👍

Thanks! Spills happen from time to time. I’ve been lucky so far. 😁 Thanks for watching and the support!

👍
Better b careful our there, keep phone with ya
Always
Be careful out there, remember you don’t have your medical guys with you since your retired and alone.
I try to be very careful, but accidents do happen. I do have an iPhone with SOS on it, also an apple watch ultra, it'll contact law enforcement automatically when needed.
Are the trails wide enough for my sand rail? Some placed don't like them..
Yes, the dirt roads I was on were about 10+ feet wide.
Very cool life your living. I’m currently doing research in #vanlife, what are your thoughts on that?
Thanks! Van Life is a great way to get out there and see the world. Life is short, make it happen!
Curious about food you eat ? Is it processed or do you try and cook fresh ??
Little bit of both, processed and fresh.
@@DispersedCamperMan appreciate response and I found that with my purchase of 17” black stone griddle made it easier to cook and ease for fresh foods
That sounds good!
I'm curious as to what cell phone antenna you have and if it works?
I don’t have a cell phone antenna. I use Starlink with WiFi calling. Works great.
