I work at Target part-time and happened to be working the morning the DVF line went live. The store opens at 8 and by 8:15, 3 women needed the dressing room to try on the new collection. Practically every woman had their arms full with the entire collection and needed a dressing room. When I saw that, I went and grabbed the dress I was interested in and stored it away for my future purchase! Some of the younger girls didn't know who DVF was so I had to explain "designer icon". Thanks for all you do Lisa!
Lisa, when you mentioned putting something over your head when trying on clothes, I have to tell you that when I was in high school, mother drove me in to Houston, (we lived about 50 miles east of Houston) every Saturday for about 6 weeks to go to a Finishing School for high school girls. It was called Patricia Stephens Finishing School. In signing up for the class, we received a “Hatbox” full of items for fashion, makeup, etc. among those things were a Pink Nylon Netting Hood, with a zipper that was meant to wear over your head to prevent makeup getting on clothes and to also save your hairstyle. I want you to know that I still have that pink hood that still has the original zipper that still functions. I graduated from high school in 1960, so that should tell you how old this hood is. It is so stained from makeup, that washing it doesn’t get it out. I use it all the time!! Amazing and what a treasure!!
All young women should go to finishing school but alas they don’t and it really shows. I’m 67 and every single time I’m in public I’m appalled. I live in Orange County not the Hood. Just goes to show. Money doesn’t equal class

Shout Wipes are a MUST! I have them in my school bag, in my purse, in my guest room basket for guests...they are HANDS DOWN the BEST! I have even used them to get tomato out of a wedding dress before the wedding. Amazing. They do not dry out because they are individually wrapped. The best!

I love my double wear I only wear it in fall and winter. I’m tan in summer and I use a pancake makeup by revlon mixed with a glow bronzer. I use pancake because being in show business as a ballet dancer that was the makeup we always used lol
I was just in Riga ,Latvia to visit family and friends and my friend was telling me about clinic who does blepheroplasty,great surgeons, one eye price $500 .
So yes, I will be heading back for improvement of my eyelids.
City is so beautiful, great food, great hotels. Everything is close and amazing public transportation on top.

Doublewear is a classic. My color is Tawny and have been wearing it on rotation with Dior Forever, Armani Luminous Silk….all the things.
As I’ve aged I add a drop of serum or glow drops to it and it’s stunning. I become a chemist to make it work. 😂💫🥰

I forgot about the DVF drop and just happened to be in Target the day of I got the pink mini sundress and the light blue skirt and top they are pretty nice obviously price wise way different but I still think they really nice quality! Best collab yet! Love the Sam Edelman shoes so pretty!! I really like that brand never have issues with them hurting! Excited for all the new S/S fashion!! Have a Happy Easter 🐰

I absolutely love the DW! I add just a touch of the Essence glowy serum primer (dupe for Glow Recipe ) and it is so beautiful on my skin. I have gotten several compliments on my skin and I'm almost always wearing that foundation.
I have been thinking about trying the Hourglass Ambient foundation. But, i tried the Good Apple serum foundation in the bottle and I returned it, first time I've ever done that. It looked awful on me. So, yeah, it's very interesting how things look and work differently on people.
Have you tried any of lisa eldridge lipsticks or lipliners? I have a few and I do enjoy wearing them.

I set my phone alarm for DVF x Target. I had my "save" list and hit purchase at 12:01 am. I bought a knit halter, tote bag, and a set of makeup bags . They are such hood quality and print! The bags have a black, taupe, white baskeweave design. I passed on the jumpsuit cuz most make my butt look saggy from 😂

just a comment on the pump...it does get gunky but my pumps have never actually gotten clogged or sprayed out in weird directions. I've used both the estee lauder pumps and the ones from amazon. It doesn't bother me because I'd rather that that pouring too much out.

The Shouts are good. I carry them in my purse. I too love pretty shoes - I have a weakness for them. I have the little H&M Blazer with the scrunched sleeves. There are times when I like them because the arm bands designed to hold up the sleeves kinda get on my nerves. lol Also, I too wear black over white more than the reverse order. I tend to go with monochromatic or high contrast, not much in-between. Have a great Easter, Lisa!

Hey Lisa! I watch Rachel Leary. She is hilarious. The amount of makeup she puts on is incredible yet it doesn't look like it at all. Probably because she is young. If I want a breath of fresh air, I watch her and she makes me feel happy. Love watching her food choices as well. Okay I got the Tarte gloss and it is 30% off so that was a no brainer. I am still purging my makeup and then I go and buy more. Sigh. What I hate is looking at lipstick in weird colors that I bought. What was I thinking? LOL. My Tom Ford lippies had to be tossed. For some reason his lipsticks do not last very long and get a pretty weird smell to them. I rarely buy his anymore. I do have Spanish Pink though. Have a wonderful Easter and weekend.

Y'ALL I've seen some comments about the mom and kids. We have all helped and all avoided eye contact and tried to rush through the light to not feel guilt. I'm sure she meant she sees the same mom over and over and it becomes disheartening to continue to see that life for maybe the mom, but definitely the children. I would do anything for my son including being on a corner, but I would never worry him or expose him to that. I'm certain she wasn't belittling the necessity of it, but wondering if the mom is truly in need and if so there are better methods and options.
