I looked up the Christian Audette collection and it's is Gorgeous! As a kid I watched a lot of South Asian movies. As I got older I started looking into the spiritual side of life .... about the vast universe, how everything is connected and eventually stumbled upon past lives and lucid dreaming. When I saw the Christian Audette Campaign I remember one my past lives as a punyabi girl. I was so aware that it was me, it was an amazing experience. In this life time I am a fair skinned Puerto Rican girlie who loves bronzers and dies her hair black despite having light brown hair Lol the irony 😅
All that to say the campaign is so incredibly beautiful that I'm going to treat myself to one of their beautiful rich lipsticks 💄for my birthday and I'm thinking of maybe going for some south asian cuisine here in New York at a local eatery.

So nice to see you back home. Make sure you rest up from all of your traveling. I had to have that Zara outfit. Loved the pants then saw the matching jacket so, of course, got that as well. I did want those Anthro lounge pants but they are sold out in my size, in almost all of the sizes. I am going to keep checking though. Sometimes things get returned. Sounds like you had a great time. Can't wait to hear all about it.

Hi Lisa, I have my nails mechanically cleaned from my gel polish every time. My nail lady however does not use the sanding pieces but special ceramic attachments and it works like a charm for years. It takes no longer than 10 mins to clean my nails. Perhaps might be worth looking for a salon that uses this technique especially for trips. Love you channel :)

I had exactly the same nail salon experience. I had a weak moment and had the dip Nails put on. When I decided to get them off, out came the drill and I stopped them and asked can you please soak them off with acetone. The lady said no it takes too long. Now my nails are like crap. Never again!
Thank you for the tip as I have an excellent artist who does my nails but from now on I will go earlier to sit and have them soaked off,He is the owner and he is always fully booked . I tip accordingly. Great watching Lisa do her thing on Friday night. Cheers from Toronto

I absolutely love christian audette I got her lipstick collaboration she did with mel thompson. It is that good. I ended up with kitten and beauty. The colors blended so nicely Im getting replacements when i rub out of what i have now.
Paul Mitchell makes the best flat irons! Great for oversea travel too as they are made to handle various wattages.

I just found the lounge pants with the black print restocked in some sizes. I am between sizes but had to size up one, as the size I wanted was sold out. We'll see how they fit. I also got the Avec Les Filles Faux Shearling Bomber Jacket....I cant wait to get them!

I always get my true size 6.5/37.5/23.2cm in Nike unless it’s a huarache. For reference Adidas runs bigger but I still get 6.5, Steve Madden and Dolce Vita run a half size small so I get a 7 and that’s rare for me.
I agree, always wear something that feels good, even if you're just staying home.
Also, never allow the salon to drill natural nails. Mine have been ruined by that, too.

Lisa, I get hell but I have never sat with acetone for an hour! They always file over the gel with a regular file and then put on the acetone.. maybe 5-10 mins max? I have been getting over gel too just b/c I get impatient but if I say their for an hour I might ho crazy! Lol!

Such a great haul. I loved the high topped Nikes. I, too, love an oversized blazer but please rethink sizing up on an already oversized piece. That black blazer is way too big for your cute figure. That white fur jacket is so precious!

Lisa, can you please do a review comparing Laura mercier loose powder to huda loose powder for under the eyes?
No one ever talks about this powder, but it is my favourite to use under the eyes. It is the NARS Light Reflecting LOOSE powder. I just use a very small amount to set my concealer. I discovered it years ago when I went on a quest to find a powder that didn't emphasize fine lines and make my undereyes look dry. This was the winner for me! I've been using it ever since. I have the "regular" Laura Mercier translucent setting powder, which I love using on my face, but I don't like it for under the eyes. I have tried the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder, and it is nice, but I still like the NARS better. The LM is very white and a little too "sparkly." A lot of people do love that one, though. I haven't tried the Huda loose powder. Powder is one of those things where you don't know until you try it!! I hope you find one you like. : )

I’m so glad your back! I missed you too! I do love the Nike hi-tops as I would definitely wear them. I normally wear a 9 in Nike but in the Nike Air270 I have to size up 1/2 size.
It is a hit or miss for me with Nike. Sometimes, I wear my true size 8m, and in a different color of the same shoe I wear 8.5m.

I’m so sorry that happened with your nails….😢 It happened with my toenails during a pedicure and ever since then I have had to do a gel topper. Otherwise they just crack and break. I don’t know the solution how to get them back to normal because I always have to have a gel top over my big toenail…
