I feel like I have had this for ten years without it being sorted. I’ve had urine tests and when I was younger I had a camera look at it. I still struggle with pain in them to this day and it’s always on the back of my mind that I could be an underlying problem.
Doctor prescribed cipro 250 mg. Im a little concerned as 1. i have symptoms but how do u know its def fhat 2. Side effects of cipro. Getting ultrasound monday thinking I wait to see what that says before starting cipro?
Many of you here may actually have a herniated disc, not epididymitis. Symptoms of disc problems can be confused. I was convinced I either had epididymitis or vericocele. Nope. To find out, try putting mild pressure on your lower back near L4. If the pain changes at all when you do it, guess what.
Was your testicle veins also hurt ? Explain please i had this since one year my calf also hurt. I noticed that the pain fades a bit to when i stopped bending my back in front of the bath whenever i wash my hair, and instead i would wash my hair standing in the bath instead any explanation mate ? Many thanks.
@@vandebrug6090 I actually still have a tingle/burn in the scrotum, not sure if it's the veins exactly. I think if you notice a change bending over or not, it could be your back. Try pushing into your lower back close to the spine while you lay down and see if the pain immediately resolved when doing so.
@@whereisthehook now i just realized that in my lower back it hurts when i press there in the L4 disc.. and it also hurt my knee like hell i’m sure that this is what caused my left tisticle pain.. ive done an ultra sound 1 year ago and i had epididymitis inflammation. Did you also have the same symptoms? And how come your scrotum still hurt after knowing the cause ??
@@vandebrug6090 I had an epididymitis-like scrotum pain, but without any sign of infection. There was no swelling, blood, or problems with urination. I still have the other symptoms but I have tried drinking a lot more water and that has helped me. I think it's because the body stores excess water in the discs.
@@whereisthehook so that wasnt your back ? And do you have an anterior pelvic tilt as well ? You also said that u werent healed yet so this isnt water i guess..
Yes, it's usually an inflammation of the epididymis plus you can have a cyst growth, it's common and usually nothing that can be serious but it could always grow so get ultrasounds done
@@alexandermacdonald7547 Gotdamn I don’t want them to remove mine.. I still want children of my own. I haven’t seen a doctor since 2020 but pain still there.. just on & off & weak. In the beginning it was very painful!
@@alexandermacdonald7547 Did they told you you might get this testicle dysfunctional after the surgery ? Im 23 yo and I'm in bad pain everyday with urgent need to urinate, I made ultrasounds 2 years ago the coward doctor told me it's nothing but some pain that will go away and I just saw in my online medical files that the report says its epididymus...
This explains a lot. Especially that epididymitis causing the urgent need to urinate, but a urine test is clear.
What would be the main differences in presentation between epididymitis and testicular torsion?
screaming usually
Torsion would have you screaming like a baby.
Excellent information
Also my symptoms sometimes are less does this ever go away on its own?

How old are you? I’m 26 and I noticed when I was around 12. I have the same worries.

@@nickallen419 Yup, mines like that too. When you take a bath, you can really see the swelling when laying in water.
Hey , yes it does. One of the worst feeling ever. How are you feeling now? Have you recovered?
Infact epididymo orchitis is the one that makes the balls to hang as the whole testicle will be inflammed
