I love how the shots have just Holly, Jill, and Melissa talking with Abby because those 3 are the only ones whose children attend ALDC off camera. Abby confirmed that 3 children don't attend off camera and that Nia, Kendall, Maddie, and Mackenzie take classes when not filming and attend local conventions/competitions. She also mentioned those 4 girls a month ago on After Buzz.
I was a teacher (academic) and if one kid wasn't getting it you didn't hold back the rest of the group--you took that one aside for help afterward. If Abby needs to be paid for that time, then it's moms' choice. Otherwise I sort of agree with Abby although NOT in the way she puts it!
Yes, if it were a normal dance for a showcase, you would definitely do that. However, they're racing against the clock here. They have no time.
She is paid for the time she spends with their kids. So she should shut up and do what she gets paid to do.

Actually that is exactly what it means if she could replace everyone but Maddie and Kalani and Mackenzie and sometimes Kendell she would all pretty little white girls that do pretty little lyrical dances. But she can't because LifeTime controls who is on the show. She can bring in guest dancers but in the end LifeTime decides who is hired. If Abby had her way Nia would have been gone as soon as Holly started stranding up to her.
@@Kingaoiun57831 and Christi and Chloe, she said on an interview that she couldn't get rid of them because of the contract they had with lifetime so she tortured Chloe and her mother in order to get them to leave by themselves.
Heres the thing. Its not necessarily that Abby doesnt like some of the girls; it's that she gets frustrated with the stress of racing against the clock to put together winning numbers every week. I'm sure that if it were a normal routine for the dance concert and a couple students weren't doing as well, Abby would pull them aside with their mothers and ask for another smaller rehearsal with them or maybe privates so they wouldnt fall behind. However, for this team, they need to be able to execute moves flawlessly and pick up quickly. Otherwise, running the dance over and over could definitely cause injury, which the moms would then again blame Abby for. I agree completely with Abby.

@@arcticwindsartist3716 Dancing is stressful and yeah, some moves can be dangerous but its mostly about having fun. I do agree with Abby that running a routine over and over can cause injury and strain on the body but the way she said it was a bit rude.
If Abby replaces the girls and their moms, I'm not watching the show. It's ABOUT the moms and the girls. It's called DANCE MOMS.

I agree. They shouldnt change the stars of the show. Everyone loves those girls.Its sad that she cares more about winning and perfection then she does about those girls who adore her and think the world of her
Seriously alot of those kids don't adore her they adore their time on the camera they don't even seem to like her at all. Why wouldn't Abby want perfection it's her career! Like she told the girls this isn't dancing school this is a competitive team you don't aim to lose in competition you always strive for 1st

I will never watch this show again! Losing Chloe was the last straw! I have no interest in watching Abby....she's an absolute horrible teacher in my opinion!

This is the first time Abby has made sense to me. My kids don't dance, but they do various sports. Running those drills over and over can cause injury. On special travel teams, coaches rotate out players. The parents don't akways like it, but the coaches do it to protect the kids. If she would explain this reasoning, more people can understand her motives.

+lilly34cute Ikr. And she genuinely likes dance (along with Chloe and Kalani.) After leaving, Paige and Brooke stopped dancing completely- so it really wasn't a major commitment for them in the first place.
Brooke and page never were as dedicated as the rest of the group, they just thought it would only be 1 season

I hate people hating on maddie she did nothing wrong she was a good dancer Abby just thought she was amazing and she was the moment when I fell in love with maddie is in season 1 episode 1 where she felt really really sick so she went to bathroom her mom came down she was crying maybe it was cramps and as soon as she stepped back in the room she just did the group dance she didn’t wait to be told she just realised where the girl were at and joined in look for another girl who did that at age 8
Abby always have to be mean
By the sounds of this, it seems like Abby's regard for Nia has increased but has only gotten worse for Paige, and likely Brooke as well if that's the case. I say that because Abby doesn't complain about any instance of Nia supposedly dragging the team back and says that what she is doing fine and suggests that Nia herself is potentially being held back by students making errors. It's always good for Abby to notice when students improve.

well maddie is on a higher level, so is Chloe and if the girls weren't binded by a lifetime contract abby just would have put paige kenzie and kendall on another group. they choose the auditions for drama it's lifetime scripting, like when Kendall went to candy apples.
Yellow Sunshine; In group dances she rarely has to correct Nia. Now ballet is not her strongest dance type but she is a very strong member of the group

I'm just done, Abby is being so mean to the girls tbh, don't get that the bad way but I hate the fact that she's replacing the girls when they were dancing since they were young and they made her successful. If she replaces somebody I'll stop watching the show honestly. The show was better in season 1 and 2

If Chloe gets the chop then I really won't watch it... In fact I would have a hard job watching the group without the originals. Gosh I am addicted to this show and I don't even live in America. I love all the girls' and pray they stay together .

Abby right thought and even if Abby did NOT kick Brooke and Paige off they would be leaving soon.On account of there age Brooke like 16 and Paige is about 14/15 year old. Then Chloe is like 3rd to the oldest.They are getting to old to just be competition dancer.

Nia would never be on the team if she would have to audition to be on the team.
I'm guessing by Abby mentioning Paige's name at the beginning its her she wants replacing she always complains how Brooke doesn't want it and should stick to singing so i'm guessing it her too and she also hates Kelly so there another good reason to get rid of the Hylands. But i think Nia, Maddie, Mackenzie, Chloe and possibly Kendall will be safe. I only say possibly Kendall because Abby always complains that she cries to much and struggles to fix corrections. I think obviously Maddie and Kenzie are safe and Nia works her ass off so i think Abby wont replace nia and Chloe is naturally talented and for now picks up choreography quickly and always performs well but Christi could be a reason why Abby would replace Chloe.

To be honest, She should of got rid of Nia already, like last year. She's a teen and I think Mackenzie can even beat her one on one. I have to admit, I liked Nia...not because she was a great dancer, but because she's likable. I cringe when they dance because I don't want to see Nia do something sloppy. When her age pushes them into teen and you have to choose between kalani and Nia, Nia has to go.
