New Valve Cover from 1AAuto.com trq.video/ia-1...
This video shows you how to install a new valve cover gasket in your 2003-2021 Chevrolet Express. Under the valve cover, you have camshafts and the valvetrain spinning and flinging oil everywhere. A valve cover has to have a gasket to stop some of that oil from leaking out the seam. When you do see oil around your valve cover, you know it’s time to replace the gasket.
This repair was done on a 2003 Chevrolet Express 3500 Base 6.0L Standard Passenger Van 3-Door RWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Your videos are honestly a life saver. Thank you for providing well lit content and not subjecting us to some asinine music. Your solid camera mount is also much appreciated. Nothing is worse than a head mounted camera flipping around and making you seasick. Thanks!! A++

    So I got a question I got a 2005
Chevy express 2500 v8 , 4.8l engine , the car starts with a lot of white smoke - smells like burned oil , so I was hoping I could just do l what suggested in your video - here is the problem my car still uses spark plug wires and distributor cap and the valve cover looks completly different from the replacment that you show in the video , what should I do in this situation ? Thank you .

Does anyone have a recommendation for a low torque Torque Wrench? Or, what wrench is he using? Thanks

Amazing how much you have to remove now to get to things, I have a 2001 and you don't have to take the seat out or anything else except the heat/engine cover and the engine isn't as close to the body, making spark plug changes way easier on top smh
