I microwave my hopia (lol) for 11 seconds then flip, another 11 sec. Like I tell everyone, hopia is nicer when warm. I thaw my frozen hopia 😆 and warm 1-2 at a time. Thanks much for cool homage to Eng Bee Tin. Plenty of good moments there with families & friends.
Another great. Food review by mommy and her two handsome boys! Kuya is so articulate I can see him being a cook a chef even or a great find reviewer and ading (means younger ) brother is so bright eyed and cute and so makulit hehe but I can see how he looks up to you and kuya when reviewing and his cute little reviews are adorable as well! My favorite growing uo was the baboy hookah and mongo
Hi Anrie! Thank you for the sweet compliment. The boys are certainly showing their personalities 😉 we are very glad to know you’re enjoying the videos! Thank you so much for watching and ingat po 🙏🏼

You have such great videos.. in GRANADA HILLS, I don’t know how far that is away from you. There is a store called “Hopia Like It,” they may have a lankga flavor there amongst other flavors that new. On Amazon by Banh Pia Hopia Cakes there is a durian flavor… hope that helps and keep up the good videos.
Thank you for the info Angelica! Granada Hills is about 2 hours with no traffic (but no traffic is rare traveling through L.A. 😉) I’ll have to check on the Amazon option. I’ve also been looking into Weeee the Asian grocery store app, might find some there 😊
Hi. It's not only the eng bee tin that makes hopia. If you look around in binondo you will find Polland hopia and Holand hopia. It's just that eng bee tin is more popular. The polland and holand has 5 hopias inside unlike eng bee tin has only 4. They also taste good as eng bee tin.
Several other viewers have also mentioned these brands 🤔 I’m definitely going to look for them next time I go to the market. Thank you for sharing your suggestion!
Hello po! I love all things Ube 😊 I was slightly bummed about this hopia since I found another one at a local shop that tasted much better. The halaya was so fresh. Do you have a favorite ube hopia brand?
@@LLVT Pareho po pala tayo!😊 "Halayang Ube" is always present in our every Christmas Eve❤ but the only Hopinang Ube brand I know here in Palawan is the Baker's Hill. I am an Ube person😊😂 I cannot imagine my life without this particular Filipino food😍🤣
Hello po! Thank you, they always do these silly things during “filming” so we knew we had to incorporate it somehow. Thank you so much for watching and ingat po 🙏🏼
I never been to China town in the Philippines, and its first time I see Hopia Kundol.Usually hopiang ube, hopiang baboy, hopiang munggo I usually buy and eat.
I hope you get to try some other flavors too! I’d like to compare to other brands on a separate video and see which ones I like better. Thanks for watching and ingat 😋
I live in the Philippines, in Pasay City which is just beside Manila City. I love Binondo Chinatown, Ongpin. Filipino-Chinese food there was affordable and amazing, the kind of food you might find in any other place but it's not as good, it just hits different.
Hi Aljo! I will definitely look for that brand now, I’d say the flakiness is probably the only thing missing from the Eng Bee Tin version. Thank you so much for watching!
Have you tried eating a durian? Not sure if they have durian hopia in binondo. I have eaten durian hopia it came from davao. Durian comes from davao. Try durian pie, durian candies and durian ice cream. They are delicious.
Oooh the very popular durian 😬 I have not tried it yet. I’m hoping to give it a try one day and I will definitely be sure to get that on video! I’ve been around it and I know the smell is so overpowering, but I’ve heard it tastes better than what most people think. It’s on the list of things to try!
They were very delicious! We’ve since eaten others from smaller shops and home bakers, I’ve actually enjoyed those a bit better than these ones. But I’ll always try some new flavors ☺️
Fellow Temeculan here. Love the videos. We need good Filipino and Mexican food here. Have to travel to Mira Mesa or National City for Taco shops and Titas lol

Tofu Sisig sounds delicious! I’m still a bit scared to try dinuguan but I did post a challenge on our Buy Me a Coffee page earlier this week to help get me to try it soon.
I haven’t tried to make that either 🤔 after we had the Leche Flan Ube cupcake on the Cafe 86 episode I told myself I need to learn to make it! Thank you so much for watching and ingat po 🙏🏼
Hi Eric! He’s a bit camera shy and prefers to be the behind the scenes, I’m hoping to convince him to join us soon! Sometimes you will see him when I’m filming for parties and other outings, you just have to search for him 😂 Thank you so much for watching and ingat po 🙏🏼
Yes I think they were sold out because I definitely would’ve grabbed that flavor! I’m curious about the durian flavor too so I’ll have to make a list for the next trip to 88 Ranch or Seafood City.

I was surprised that I didn’t see Hopia baboy at the store 🤔 maybe it was sold out. Give Kundol a try if you find it, it’s pretty yummy!
Your boys are just so adorable 🤗

My favorite flavor is the baboy or winter melon ones.
I can't wait to go back to the real Eng Bee Tin store and try them there!
My mom gets this brand, too. My favorite is mongo or ube because it's the only ones I've had lol.
I hope you get to try some other flavors too! I’d like to compare to other brands on a separate video and see which ones I like better. Thanks for watching and ingat 😋

I like the Eng Bee Tin custard and mini tikoy rolls. For traditional hopia, I prefer the Holand one, like the aroma and the skin, so flaky. 😆
Hi Aljo! I will definitely look for that brand now, I’d say the flakiness is probably the only thing missing from the Eng Bee Tin version. Thank you so much for watching!

Hopia are the best. My favorite is the Hopia Baboy
They didn't have that flavor at the store we went to.

Expensive hopia eng bee tin^^
I didn’t think about comparing the price for these ones. Any recommendations for other brands?
Not really a big fan of hopia growing up but after this video I'm gonna give them another chance.
Yay 😁 I hope you find some that you’ll end up enjoying! Please share when you find the right flavor 🙏🏼
@Livin La Vida ok will do! Hopefully I will make it to N.City soon.
There is a new hopia brand, but from Vietnam Pia they have durian and Mongo combined.
Sounds like a flavor Kuya would enjoy!
wow
Thank you so much for watching! Which one would be your favorite flavor?
ooohhh sultry 🤤
Hi Arnel! Are you a fan of Eng Bee Tin? It sounds like I have some other hopia brands I should try 🤔 maybe a comparison video?
Hi, sad to say i have not eaten at Eng BT yet maybe someday. though we have local hopia made by local Chinoys. I live in Baguio.
Holland and Engbiten are 2 of the best hopia companies in the Philippines.
🇵🇭❤️
I like eng bee tins hopia, polland hopia but bakers fair hopia is my 💚
Another brand for me to try! Thank you for sharing 😊 my husband has told me that Valerio’s Bakery also has a very good Ube one.
Now, his own channel. Lol.
😊 he’s getting there, diba? He also has his own Instagram where he shares different foods too, it’s @kasen_eats Thank you so much for watching and ingat po 🙏🏼
I more like Polland hopia than Eng Bi Tins, they're more savory hope they have it back there in the US.
I hope they have it too. Several viewers have mentioned it so I will be on the lookout for it. Which is the best flavor from that brand?
@@LLVT almost all including the Durian, Ube cheese, Condol, Pork, Ube etc.
Yo!!! i never go home empty handed from china town with these hopia
I couldn’t imagine going into that store and leaving without buying a few. Thank you so much for watching and ingat ‘til next time 🙏🏼
Soon, you try Tofu Sisig and Blood Pork.
Tofu Sisig sounds delicious! I’m still a bit scared to try dinuguan but I did post a challenge on our Buy Me a Coffee page earlier this week to help get me to try it soon.
Is this like moon cake?
Yes, I think they are quite similar ☺️
You try ro make Leche Flan.
I haven’t tried to make that either 🤔 after we had the Leche Flan Ube cupcake on the Cafe 86 episode I told myself I need to learn to make it! Thank you so much for watching and ingat po 🙏🏼

You didn't get the best flavor. Custard. Maybe because they're so yummy, they ran out on stocks. Oh a durian as well.
Yes I think they were sold out because I definitely would’ve grabbed that flavor! I’m curious about the durian flavor too so I’ll have to make a list for the next trip to 88 Ranch or Seafood City.
